We looked forward to eating here because of the reviews and a recommendation from a local family member, but our experience was less than good. If you have food allergies, BE CAREFUL. I specifically ordered my burrito non-spicy and with no cheese or sour cream. She repeated it back to me but the burrito arrived slathered in cheese and so filled with Jalapeno's I cut it open and dug out a few pieces of chicken, but couldn't eat the rest. My wife and sister-in-law ordered Margarita's, one with salt and one with sugar on the rim. Both came with nothing on the rim. My daughter and brother-in-law ordered street tacos with "chicken and cheese only" and they came with no cheese, buried in onions and cilantro, and the meat was so dry like it had been left out under a heat lamp for too long. For once, my wife's meal was perfect! Usually her order is what gets messed up. We don't live here so it won't be a problem for us to not come back, but they need to make some serious changes before someone has an allergic reaction because they didn't pay attention to the order.
This is our go-to restaurant when we're looking to eat out. The service is fast and friendly. The food and experience is consistently great!
The only good thing was experience was the service. The food was ok and bought one drink that cost $14.00 which was over price and disgusting. I won't be visiting that place again.
We ordered jalapeno margaritas, which we have done several times before, but this time they were way too sweet. We asked the server what was in them. She said the basic ingredients plus orange juice... Who puts orange juice in margaritas?! The server acted like it normal. It was very awkward. Don't go here for the margaritas unless you want to argue about what should go in them.
I've always found this location to be consistent with their dishes and at a fair price considering current dining out prices. Customer service is above average as well. Cheers!
Very poor service, and who puts orange juice in a margarita? I used to be able to get a great jalapeno marg here, now all I get is a $15 Capri sun and a waitress who argues with me about a terrible drink. This place has gone way downhill.
Delicious food. But slow service due to it being so busy. Otherwise it would be a 5 star. Yummy food though so worth the wait. And the buy one get one margaritas are amazing.
Food came out cold. Cooked but cold. Asked server to send back hot food- old, cold food was taken and returned fresh out of the microwave, replete with hot lettuce, hot sour cream, and hot guacamole. Absolute waste of time once it all transpired. Not going back
Omg Soup! The Cozumel soup was so good! I would've liked a few more shrimp, but honestly no complaints. Lots of Krab and the broth was savory and spicy. It came with some rice and tortillas on the side, and the biggest bowl you can imagine
There were six in our party. Everyone’s food was cold. Let the waitress know, she was very apologetic. “New food” came out within 10 mins, which was a red flag. We’ll, it wasn’t new food at all. They literally microwaved our entire plates of food… lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, all were boiling hot, in addition to the food…disgusting! At that point we had already been there close to an hour. We notified the waitress of the issue and left. Will NEVER go back to this location or any other El Jalisco.
