Once a sworn staple of local excellence has sadly allowed time to catch up to it. A dated experience of an eatery who lacks vision and above all, accommodation. Instead it relies on customer nostalgia and dated word of mouth. If not brought up to a more modern and evolutionary standard, it will endure the same fate as many of its more legendary contemporaries that sadly have been lost, but not forgotten.
I went Saturday and the food was terrible after waiting 30mins. The fries tasted as if they put them back in the grease to reheat them. Very disappointed and can’t say I would go back.
Had a Dog Et Al Hotdog with chilli, shredded cheese and sauerkraut; along with a side of onion rings and large lemonade.My topping were fresh, and my onion rings were even fresher, coming straight out the grease and full of onion ! Loved it.The customer service was exceptional also. A great place for a good fresh dog and rings.
Great hole in the wall place for dogs or burgers, lots of toppings and options for the dogs; they're pretty quick, I can usually go in and order lunch and be out in 10 minutes. It does pain me to pay over $10 for a burger plate for lunch, but I also know that you can hardly find a quality fast food burger combo for less any more, so I can't blame these guys for that.
Recently, I placed an online order with this establishment but realized I mistakenly placed the order for the following day. Next day, I called the restaurant to confirm if order was received, no one answered and I headed to the restaurant. Spoke with the lady taking orders, explained the situation and wanted to know if the order was received. She had a strange look on her face while informing me that their online ordering system was down and my order was not received. I asked did they receive the payment from the online order and was told no (although they hadn’t received payment at that time doesn’t mean they weren’t going to get it). No big deal since technical difficulties occur but this is my issue: after explaining that I prepaid for the online order, I was asked did I want to place the order again. I kindly replied “if that means I will have to pay again, no thank you” and left the establishment. If management was aware that their online ordering system was down, they should have made a note of this on their website. Also, if a customer presents with proof that the online order was placed and paid for (by evidence of the confirmation email which was never requested although I had my phone up and ready to show her), the order should have been honored and fulfilled. The website nor online ordering system (ChowNow) has no information available on how to dispute an order or receive refunds. Luckily, I received a call from ChowNow an hour after the order was supposed to be picked up to confirm if order was received. At that time I explained the situation and my money was refunded. My advice: if you choose to patronize this establishment, don’t place an online order because they will not honor it even if it was an error on their behalf.
I went to this place of business the lady told me she was a manger but didn't display manger behavior she ended up giving me spoiled food and went I called to talk to someone about what happened she argued with me and took the phone off the hook witch I have pictures of when I went there letting her know the food was bad she proceeded to tell me the owner wasn't doing anything for the business that she couldn't get the ower to even come in the store to fix anything I told her that wasn't my business I was there about being given spoiled food she then told me that wasn't her business not to mention I am pregnant if you go here please pay attention to your food and eat with caution
Food has been terrible lately. Wasted $27 on lunch for me and my wife. Fries was terrible looked and tasted burnt, corn dog looked as if it had been soaking in grease, tasted horrible. Honestly since the new owners took over this place hasn’t been the same. Reached out to them only to get no response. Won’t ever be returning!!!
