Tried to dine in but was told by the cashier the Manager sent everyone home except 1 waiter which that 1 waiter was very rude. Why send your employees home before lunch? Well After waiting 30 min to be seated even tho one whole side of restaurant was empty I was seated in back by bathroom which smelled horrible . So I nicely asked the waiter could we be seated to the completely empty side and she rudely said NO and called for manger who rudely also stated NO and suggested we continue to wait if we wanted another table away from bathroom fumes.. I’m assuming he’s Immune to the smell and could care less about proving a customer the simple Courtesy to move our seats. We decided to get up and leave after continuing to wait to place our order. Could not bare the though of eating my food seated my a smelly bathroom! Poor customer service Poorly managed No Stars! Me or my family Will defiantly NOT be back.
This place is no frills but the food is fantastic!! You can’t go wrong with any of the seafood options but be warned that you better come hungry or prepared to take a box home. The portions are huge and a great value for the price. This was my first one visiting the city and I was looking up places online. I’m so glad I picked this place because it was laid back, affordable and delicious.
We were passing through going home from vacation in Orlando and decided to stop here based on previous reviews. This place was quite a great find. The stuffed mushrooms were fantastic, filled with plenty of crab meat and topped with cheese. We were surprised that the portion was 6 large mushrooms. They were some of the best we have ever eaten. I ordered the galley for one and my wife ordered the fish and grits. Both plates were more food than we could eat and had to take home what we couldn't finish. The food was excellently fried and seasoned perfectly. The service was fantastic. My only disappointment was that we didn't live close. This is truly a seafood restaurant I would recommend and would definitely be back when we pass through again. Two thumbs up to the staff for the high quality of this restaurant.
We are from Texas just passing through.We tried quite a variety of things:Broiled snapper"Plenty for one" which included scallops, shrimp, oysters, clam straps, and more.All of it was cooked perfect- not over cooked like most fried seafood.We were really pleasantly surprised.Very reasonably priced too.Service was prompt and friendly too!I very rarely do reviews, but, had to here.
I ordered pickup and my food came out of their kitchen as I was walking through the door. The calamari appetizer was okay, but the scampi fiesta was quite good: shrimp and scallops tossed in butter over a bed of tasty rice. Good crisp coleslaw as well.
Staff has always been really nice to me, and helped me accommodate a salt-light dietary restriction. Food is good, and larger quantity than some seafood places. Was pleasantly surprised, and will be coming back!

Great food, great service. Don't know why they closed the dining area at 8:00 PM. The manager turned customers away telling them the dining room was closed. That's lost revenue for no good reason.
We were traveling and picked this place for dinner. Well, that was a mistake. We ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer and it was mushy and bland. The meals came with the wrong side and the server acted as though she did us a favor by getting the correct one out to us. The hush puppies, fried fish and fried okra all tasted like old grease. Very nasty. We ordered sweet and unsweetened teas that tasted like strong, unfiltered tap water. Not once did anyone ask how our meal was so we could express our dissatisfaction. I stopped the manager as we were headed to pay and let him know the food tastes like old grease and something was seriously off with the tea but he was in such a rush that he kept trying to move away and just said thank you for letting him know, zero concern for unhappy guests. Do yourself a favor and pick a different restaurant as this one is apparently a local joint that locals have settled for. Maybe they can take the $60 we paid for the meal and invest in a filter and some new fryer oil.
