My friends and I went to Crafty Crab for a few drinks and ended up having the best time ever. If you ever sit at the bar please request Bartender Dee! She makes the BEST drinks out of all of them. (believe me i’ve been there a few times) and always makes you feel welcomed. Shes really funny too!
Food is always delicious but do not pay with your card. The waiter’s will post their on tip on your card even after you put your tip preference down. The manager did not care or seemed alarmed when I called to voice my concerns. Our waiter was Kimora. Be aware!!
I’m extremely disappointed in this location. My family and I drove from Atlanta Georgia to this location for dinner. We were in town for the weekend to attend a funeral and wanted a good seafood place to eat. It’s been a year since we eaten at Crafty crab but I wished I would have chosen a different restaurant. We spent damn near over $200 for the worst seafood ever!!!!! The potatoes ?, sausage, mussels, and crawfish were over cooked and undercooked. The mussels were extremely over cooked because the meat looked like a small pea.!!! We were exhausted and tired from the long drive all I wanted was a good meal. The manager was unapologetic and after our formal complaint and we showed her the undercooked and overcooked food she agreed and said she would assist with the bill. She gave us a $5.50 discount!!! Which was a slap in the face. The waitress even said we should have went to a different location because they were only Asians working in the back and they didn’t know to cook food. I was flabbergasted ? and extremely disappointed. When you have a waitress as well as manager acknowledged that the food isn’t fit to eat, THAT’S A PROBLEM!!!!! I Called a few relatives about this location and they also said this location is horrible and customer service and food has went down the drain. But they did advise the location on Capitol Circle of Tallahassee was better. Ugh!!! I hope management reads this and get this location together. I’m posting this on social media!!! This is ridiculous and extremely disappointing!!!!! My family and I deserve a better experience. I even tip the waitress even though she honestly didn’t deserve a tip because she warned us about the food after we ordered and sat down. They just need to shut this place down and start over!!! Wasted money!
The menu selection is very plain. We bought a basket of fried shrimp and oysters. We chose onion rings as the side. The seafood was perfect. The onion rings were chewy and we ended up not eating most of them. Service after taking the order consisted of “here is your food”, “how is it” and “here is you bill”. I didn’t even see the waitress to ask for a refill.

Waited over 30 minutes before we had to stop someone to get them to wait on us. Waitress just walking past like we are invisible. Sad things is they cleaned about 4 tables around us. I mean we could of ask did we want drinks. We will not be coming back to this place. We were passing through and next time we will pass by Crafty Crab. My fiancé had wrote his order on the table.
Upset. I had originally called to place an order for a 1lb of King Crab and a half pound of shrimp and a second order of 1lb of King Crab and Half pound of crawfish seafood boils. I was first told that each bag was supposed to have 6 potatoes and two corns. I had walked in to pick up when I was told the same thing. Very disappointed when I got home and noticed that each bag only had 4 potatoes and 1 corn each. I called the store back, and was told by the manager that it was a mistake by a new employee (which is fine I understand mistakes happen). But it wasn’t enough to feed my friends and I, and was told by the manager if I wanted some more, I would have to order and pay for it for their mistake. I wouldn’t want to drive all the way over for it anyways. Disappointed, I would have paid for extra no problem, but they couldn’t even accommodate me or anything. Having to share corn was not fun. Still loved the food though, always tasty.
The hosts,waiters, and waitresses super nice and friendly. One of the best restaurants for Cajun seafood.
the place looked kinda cool, food was ok I guess. the shrimp I doubt were wild... looked like shrimp, felt like shrimp, but had only the spice to flavor it. cat fish was very good though. I ordered a shot of tequilla.... I am pretty sure it was the smallest shot I have ever gotten at a bar EVER, and it was 8.25 for hornitos. I did not order another when asked by the bartender.
