Just ate there for lunch! I had the shrimp and grits and my partner had the po’ boy. It was all delicious and can’t wait to come back. They make really good mix drinks as well!
Hands down amazing food. Best fried gator tail around! Seriously huge pieces!! Red beans, gumbo are pretty authentic and the burgers are awesome as well! You will NOT be disappointed.
Delicious Cajun food. Red beans and rice were delish with a little kick.
Had a wonderful meal and relaxing time during a late lunch here on Saturday, May 7th. Was fortunate to meet the very pleasant owner who turns out, grew up within miles of my husband and I in Louisiana. During our visit, learned why this is such a sought out venue as a very unfortunate situation unfolded at the table next to us. A customer completely blew a slight delay in a refill and timing of food delivery out of proportion at the expense of a very hospitable server. Three levels of management, including the owner, tried to make this customer happy. When unable, I proudly witnessed the owner stating that he was very sorry for the disappointment but held the welfare of his employees even higher so, probably realizing the customer could not be pleased, thanked him again and returned to the server’s side to help rebuild her confidence. Well done my new Louisiana friend! Good food and good people! And definitely recommend the fried pickles and sauce!
We met here for an early dinner with several friends from the Pensacola area. The atmosphere was fantastic, the wait staff was prompt and extremely efficient. The food was okay as the gumbo was a little soupy and oily. Only real complaint was the water tasted like it come out of a garden hose. I would definitely recommend this place, just stay clear of the water.
I got the Captain Al plate and my husband got the jambalaya pasta. Both came with a house salad, try the pepper jelly vinaigrette!
Amazing food and great service from Jake! They were extremely busy and Jake was on top of it. We will definitely be back soon.
I tried Coosh on a Sunday outing with my mom. The “jambalaya” pasta was shameful. It was bland heap of greasy beige with no peppers, onions, etc. Can you call that Cajun? It was so bad I returned it and didn’t want anything else. My mom ordered the catfish and shrimp platter. The two small pieces of fish were burnt. The restaurant was empty so maybe that was a sign. I won’t be returning.
Nice Cajun menu Plus non spicy foods. Very friendly service and the restaurant is kept nice and clean. Enjoyed a hamburger sub and wonderfully crispy french fries
Great food and great staff
