Not fresh or authentic. The meat was some processed flat piece of something, I don’t actually know what kind of meat it was. There wasn’t any red onion and I couldn’t find cucumber. The sauce on it was good but not very strong tasting. They don’t have French fries which is a must on gyros if you’ve ever been to Greece. I couldn’t finish my deluxe gyro.
Food is delicious, but we waited an hour for or food - falafel pita and chicken gyro. I’ll think twice before going back.
We have eaten at Captain Pete's House of Gyros many times and have never had a single issue. Everything we've ever had there has been delicious and fresh. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone because they have a good selection and have a little something for everybody.
Delicious gyros and mint tea. Tried eggplant gyro for a meatless meal and no regrets. Everything tasted fresh and was presented neatly.
The worst greek food I have ever had. The Tzatziki tasted sour, the spanakopita was not phyllo, it was a weird texture, salty and burnt. The gyro was 100% mush. Maybe they made it the night before kinda mush. I grew up eating greek food and this was so bad, I couldn't eat it.
After months of saying I was gonna stop, I finally stopped at captain Pete's today . Guy rose or one of those things you either get right or get very wrong . Happy to say the food was Amazing , the dining room was cute , and my wait time for my to go order was 5 minutes and it Was Fresh

FYI Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian Perspective: not great and not bad. The feta and falafel were very good but it was wrapped in very meager veggies and the pita was subpar. The hummus was ok.
