I enjoyed a breakfast and lunch during a weeks stay in Tallahassee. My breakfast highlight was the excellent sausage gravy served over light and fluffy biscuits. I had the Reuben for lunch, very good, but the real star was the cream cheese, bacon, and chive potato salad which hit out of the park! I would return just for the potato salad!
Amazing place to eat brunch!! The servers were ALL very friendly, the food was wonderful!Only disappointed that they left off the avocado from my meal which was a big reason I ordered it. Waitress promised money off our ticket but we still paid full price.Would still return.
Great food and fast service! I love Eggs Benedict and if you do too please try this twist with added fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese. Yes, I said pimento cheese and it is delicious! The cheesy grits lacked salt and I’m a low salt guy so take note but great food and service!
Clean place and the service was fantastic - friendly and efficient. They were busy but did not rush us. between the 4 of us, we had chicken and waffles, pancakes and skillets. Everything was hot, fresh, delicious and good size. Skillet had many huge chunks of bacon and ham and perfectly cooked potatoes and eggs. All the food came out at the same time. There is not one thing I can say other than a great meal.
We have always had great service and experiences at canopy road cafe. Whether you want to indulge or eat lean the menu is very flexible and very tasty.
A friend and I had lunch here today and it was great. The servers are very friendly and the food excellent. I had the chicken salad sandwich with potato salad. The chicken salad was some of the best I have had in Tallahassee. I am very picky about potato salad and it was fabulous. I may bring some home next time! I would definitely recommend Canopy Road Cafe to anyone.
Very friendly staff as usual. Super busy today and some of the food got to the table cold. All tasty though. 1 coffee cup had lipstick on it and was quickly replaced nut do check them.
As soon as I sat down, the server arrived quickly, which was nice. I asked for a few more minutes to decide what to get. I quickly decided, and then proceeded to wait what seemed like 20 minutes for the server to come back. I guess she was very busy. I could have walked to the counter to remind them that I was still waiting to be served. Regardless, the perception I got that they forgot about me made me feel terrible ?. Therefore, I left.
We decided to come to this location after finding out there was only a 10 minute wait to get a table as opposed to another Canopy Road Cafe location who told my girlfriend and I that there was a 40 minute wait. While we saved some time not having to wait for a table, we did wait quite a while for our food to be prepared which is why this is a 4 star review instead of 5. Other than the wait for our food, I had no complaints. Our server was very nice and our food tasted great. I ordered the blueberry cobbler pancakes and I was pleased with my food. Their home fries are also great. Other than that, breakfast is breakfast to me. If you're looking for a good breakfast spot in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Canopy Road Cafe.
Terrible customer service. They got my order wrong AND the nerve to tell me that they wouldn’t fix it and hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. McDonald’s not even that disrespectful. I got my money back for the item. But never AGAIN! Food is mediocre anyway.
