I ordered 2 eggs over medium, bacon, well done hash browns and a pancake. Order came out in less than 5 minutes. Bacon was clearly not made to order. Hash browns were cool, greasy and almost impossible to cut through. Pancake was gooey on the inside and the eggs were over easy at best. They obviously make the hash browns and bacon up in advance well before anyone orders it. I gave 2 stars because Jess, my server, was friendly and pleasant. Food was less edible than stuff I was served in the field in the Army.
What a wonderful cafe. Superior staff is what earns the 5th star today, which is rare. Fun engaging short conversations every time we visit. Meanwhile, the food is spectacular too. We are a huge fan of breakfast all day and they rock it. I hear they have other locations in town, and can't speak to those yet, but this one is where it's at. A+++
I was very pleasantly surprised with the food. It was all delicious. I got the chorizo Mexican omelette and it was so well flavored. The home fries were really just fried potato cubes - but they were very good. The fruit plate was fresh and tasty as well. The service was good. We sat outdoors and that was really nice. It was all around a great experience! I’d definitely recommend it.
Took one hour to be seated. After being seated our food took another hour, which is totally fine. Then turns out our food was cold. I understand it’s a Sunday so I was ready for it to be busy but I didn’t enjoy eating cold food.
We waited 45 min.for a table. Food was good but nothing special..EXCEPT.. the blueberry cobbler pancake. That was delicious! Our server Cassandra was great.
Quaint place for a breakfast in a strip mall area. The food was average but the staff were nice and friendly! I had eggs, sausage and Belgian waffle with coffee. The scrambled eggs were good bc i think they used milk or something to make them lighter and fluffier. Also the sausage patty was mmm....savory goodness lol. However the waffle was crispy on the outside but doughy in the middle...like it wasn't cooked all the way through. And they had those coffee creamer packets (international delights) that were stale and made my coffee taste stale. But the staff are super friendly and got me fresh half and half cream in the fridge. The food came out quick and the amazing staff made my whole experience better!
I usually don’t wait too long for a table. In this case I asked for the countertop and they were 20 minutes, not bad. I also don’t do breakfast outside of my own home since that’s my favorite meal of the day…. That’s difficult when you’re on the road. The food was great, the substitutions were gladly taken and the prices were spot on. It’s a definite must do if you haven’t tried it yet. The only small subtle change I would make is to have something spicier to eat my breakfast with lol, but that’s a personal preference ?
We did not have a breakfast option at our hotel and they recommended the Canopy for breakfast and we were glad they did. We got there just before the place packed out. Service was exceptional and the original food choices were delicious. My Sante Fe Burrito was enough for two meals and the coffee is bottomless.. This is a hidden gem you must try! We will be back.
We arrived for a late lunch and were greeted and seated quickly. The food was delicious and hot! The fried potatoes were crispy outside and warm softness inside. My black and blue burger could have used some more blue cheese, but it was delicious! Mama was very pleased with her choice too. There was enough that she definitely was getting two meals. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and mama loved the pimento cheese.Love this place and we will be back soon!
My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast at Canopy Road Cafe (Appalachee) this morning. The food was great but what was even better was the customer service. Our waitress was very polite and attentive, and the manager gave us a complimentary hot cinnamon role. Overall, the experience was wonderful. This is the place to go when you want great food with little kindness and decency on the side.
