A friend who grew up in China introduced me to Blossom Kitchen, claiming it as the most authentic place they’ve been to in town. The food quality was very good, the prices were right in line with the other quality places in town, and the service was prompt. They were very friendly with my friend who was able to speak briefly in Chinese with the manager. I would recommend trying it out if you have not already!
Once again another great experience here at blossom kitchen this theme we decided on the peppered Chicken and it was AMAZING! The amount of meat that they give is truly a large amount enough to share for two depending on how much you can actually eat . Other than the prices being just a tiny tad high it does equal out to the amount of food they give so definitely a 10/10 in my book Try them out sometime !
Where to start. First the place is dirty red flags all over the place. Should have turned around and walked out but I had decided to give it a try so I sat down. Sign outside says “Bar” and there are several beers on their menu they brought to the table. Despite all that they do not serve any alcohol. We were the only customers in the restaurant when we arrived and our food came out on 3 chipped plates even our 4 year olds plate was chipped. The food was awful not just a little awful the worst Chinese food I ever had! We didn’t hardly eat any of it. The menu that was brought to the table had an extensive ice cream menu. All kinds of flavors made different ways rolled ice cream and on and on. So I told my 4 year old that normally loves the Chinese dish we ordered her but did not eat any because it was all awful she could have some ice cream. Yet when I tried to order ice cream I was told they do not serve ice cream! They said they have not served it in a while. The seeming “manager” asked how my food was. I told home awful and complained about the number of items on there menu they don’t serve. I was offered no solution or even an apology. Just took my money and walked away. This place needs to be closed! I would be worried about getting food poisoning if I had eaten more.Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant period!
This place is probably the best authentic Chinese food in Tallahassee. However, the prices are insane on those dishes (for example, $20 for spicy crispy chicken, $13 for egg tomato). The prices are comparable, if not greater, to New York prices for high end restaurants in Flushing.
A hidden gem in Tallahassee! We had garlic tofu and stir fry pork belly and they were amazing. Very authentic and very delicious. We will be coming back to try out their other menu options soon for sure! I'm just sad that I didn't find out about this restaurant anytime sooner. Definitely, definitely recommend this place for some authentic delicious Chinese food.
Had apparently been passing by this place for a while and didn't notice it at all; but now that I am aware, I will definitely return. Service was a tad bit slow though there wasn't a crowd, but that was ok; was worth the wait. Small, quaint space. I ordered edamame, honey chicken wings, and veggie lo mein. My friend ordered the hot plate lamb. We both enjoyed the food. I also ordered the kiwi tea, which tasted like watered-down kiwi juice, so I didn't enjoy that at all. But, the food made up for the bust with the tea :o). I will definitely visit this restaurant again. The menu is expansive and I am looking forward to trying many other items!
This food is so good. Might be the best Asian food in Tallahassee. Everything was great, but the best thing was the Kumquat Lemon flavored Iced Tea. I didn’t know Iced Tea could taste that good. I would’ve taken a picture but it only lasted 30 seconds so no time. Try only complaint is that some of the items are not on the Grubhub app if ordering off there (including the Iced Teas), but still a stellar experience. 10/10 would recommend.
