Joey and his staff are fantastic. Imagine asking a Pastry Chef to make an egg-less, dairy-less and gluten free Special Occasion Cake. I was embarrassed to even ask. No Problem! You can't imagine (or maybe you can if you know their quality) how amazing these cakes have turned out. I have bought at least 6-8 over the years and each time they are incredible. No ask is too much. They aim to please, even with all of the specialized diets out there. Thank you so much for helping me with these special requests!
Any time I have been to Au Peche Mignon it has been amazing!! I recently got a dark forest cake for a coworker who was leaving for school....she said it was one of the best cakes she had ever had. I recommend them to anyone who's looking for something truly special.
This French bakery is absolutely incredible. I had the chocolate croissant and an iced mocha latte and will be craving both of them for years to come. I ☹️ had been following their post on fb for a year & was looking forward to going in & trying a few things. Disappointed all the way around! The staff was rude & unhelpful. The pastries where dry & plain. Wouldn’t recommend.
The macarons were dry and tasted old. The employees we encountered were unkind and yelled at my friend’s child because she lowered her mask to drink water. The experience was awful and their pastries weren’t worth the price. We will never return, and would never recommend.
I will always make an excuse to come here when we visit Tallahassee, there’s not a single dessert here that I’ve tried that I didn’t like (and I’ve tried at least 10). My favorites so far have been the Baton, Petit Gateau L’orange, and Rum Pecan Tart. So very good and highly recommend!
The pastries look and taste delicious. However, the missing stars are because The personal was very disorganized and rude. I understand that there are precautions because of COVID but the staff should not be rude when a customer is trying to taste if their iced coffee has enough sugar or not by yelling them TWICE to put it back on.
My mom ordered a cake from here for my birthday, and it was so moist and flavorful! I just wish they had dine-in seating. I heard their croissant sandwiches here are good, hopefully I’ll be visiting again soon.
