The service and food were wonderful. It is so nice to be so far from Cincinnati and be able to have the food I miss.
Great food! Great service! Only reason atmosphere gets a 4 is because the floors could have used a sweep but it wasn't horrible. We were a big, loud family and the server was patient and attentive. Wish they hadn't closed the one on US1/26th. We would eat there more often if it were closer. Now it's only for special occasions (like today, Father's Day). But it's a family favorite so we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Amazing place. I actually drove to Cincinnati once for Skyline Chili. So glad they have one in S. Florida. The owner and family are great at this location and seem truly dedicated to their establishment. Incredible service! Now I live in San Diego and miss my Skyline!!
I hadn't been to Skyline Chili in a very long time. I took my granddaughter for the first time. She simply loved everything! Food quality was the same as I remembered it. And the waitress was a delight. Will be back.
An admittedly acquired taste, I came to love eating Skyline as a kid, growing up in Cincinnati. We would always go there as a treat when our swim team won, so it tasted like victory to me.I live in Fort Lauderdale now, and I eat here about once a week. It’s prep cooked, so it’s not exactly “slow food”, but it does involve glasses, plates, and non-disposable utensils.The crows is casual and friendly, and after a few visits, the staff recognizes me. It’s an easy place for a quick lunch or dinner.I absolutely love eating here.Pro-tip: ask for light cheese, and cut it with your fork, as you might with lasagna. You want to get the layers in every bite; the noodles, chili, onions, beans and cheese. It’s about the melange of ingredients, not so much about the chili by itself. It’s a collective taste.

Very good, but a little disappointing. I’m from Ohio and absolutely love Cincinnati Chili. I make my own version at home, but always figured Skyline was still best. Food was still tasty, but lacking a little “umph” with spice and seasoning. Coney was best part. I really enjoyed the speed of the service and old school feel of the dining room. Overall, a good experience.
As a long-time Cincinnati resident, where there are dozens of Skyline Chili parlors, I’m a big fan of Skyline Chili. For more than thirty years I have made weekly visits to get my 5way fix.When I came to Miami in December to get away from the Midwest winter weather, I started making the 22 mile trip to Sunrise to enjoy the unique menu.This particular restaurant has far exceeded my expectations. The staff remembered me after my first few visits, which is always nice. They are eager to make you happy. It is a great pleasure to eat here. (Better than where I eat in Cincinnati.)Kudos to the management and staff.
