We tried Goodfellas for the first time tonight and it was awesome.Food was delivered fast and it was very good. We have been looking for a good pizza place since we moved to Tamarac and now we found one. Hope the consistency stays this way cuz boy I'll be so happy. The marinara sauce was so good it's going to give my husband a run for his money cuz I thought his was awesome his is awesome I'm lying but this is very good. I forgot to take a picture before we started eating we got garlic knots too they also were very good to my surprise they weren't heated up in the microwave or didn't taste like it.. Usually never have a problem with Goodfellas. The food is in general really good an I used them as my go to pizza spot, but today was different. I ordered an italian stromboli, chicken philly cheesesteak and pasta fagioli using the SLICE app. I received a chicken parmesan stromboli, an extremely salty chicken philly with the pasta fagioli. I did receive a discount on the botched order through the app. But the food quality was definitely lacking this time and I'll be looking elsewhere for pizza and or stromboli until I hear that Goodfellas standards a back up to par.
The place in Sunrise is hit or miss. The first time, the sausage? Peppers, and onion hero was spot on. The spaghetti and meatballs was subpar for my pallet. I ordered the sausage sub again because it was outstanding the first time. However, it was not the same. The cook and preparation was way off. Definitely two different chefs. The last time I ordered was a large pie. It was made thin and crispy. Taste was good. No major complaints but I like my sauce with a little more zest.
New to the area. Googled NY Style Pizza, Goodfellas in Sunrise came up. They took my order, told me 40 minutes. When I arrived they couldn’t find my order because it was never added, wasted my time.
Very pleasantly surprised by how delicious this pizza was! Definitely a new go to restaurant! Very tasty perfectly made and this ranch?? Wow.
2.99$ a topping should equal more then 17 slivers of an onion and 11 slivers of a green pepper and 11 paper thin slices of sausage on a large pizza The crust great sauce great wish it had the toppings to match. A real shame.
They make crunchy and delicious pizza. I found this place when I was googling for pizzeria. After I bought pizzas from Goodfellas it became my favorite place in south Florida.
Bad service and food. The one in sunrise is great not this one. Take my word for it. Went last Saturday night bad service and food waited 15 min for service and there was only 5 people there. Will never go back. I will go to the one in sunrise. Much better
So my husband said...it is a repeat and that's mayor!!!Me moved a few months ago to Lauderhill and we are trying restaurant around our neighborhood.Catie our server was super sweet and super helpful. My house salad was delicious and fresh, loved the spicy croutons. We ordered crispy calamari super delicious, also the garlic bread plus the warm marinara sauce was perfection, not greasy or overwhelmed with garlic, just perfect with parmesan cheese, and the pizza, yumm...we ordered the "Al Capone" delicious, crunchy and perfect for meat lovers. We will come back.
Do not order from this restaurant. I ordered pizza for my family at 1:30pm on a Saturday and was told the delivery wait time will be 45-50 minutes. It was 4:30pm and my food still had not been delivered. After calling numerous times and even speaking to the manager I finally cancelled the order at 4:30pm. I could not wait any longer, I had to feed my kids. Every time I called I was told the driver was 5 minutes away and the food will be delivered soon. This was obviously a joke as I’m literally 5 minutes away from the restaurant. At 4:30pm I also advised the manager to credit my credit card as I had already paid, he did not issue the credit although the said okay. Very unprofessional for a business. They did not care I had been waiting for my food 3 hours. I had to call my bank and dispute the charge. Will never order from them again,
