The absolute best Jamaican food I have had in Florida. I got the jerk salmon with boiled bananas, rice and peas, and steam dumplings. It all had so much flavor and cooked to perfection. I 100% recommend Chef Rose
I’m not a regular vegetable lover but listen and I’m not exaggerating but the flavors burst in your mouth with every mouth watering taste! Absolutely worth the time and penny ! I applaud chef Rose ???blessed hands . Keep up the good work and people just try it out no dissatisfaction!
Order ahead and avoid the wait. This place is the place to go for oxtail. I ordered the large and the portion size was excellent. The price was more than fair. It came with rice and peas(beans), cabbage, and plantains. The flavors were over the top. Besides my friend's mom's homemade oxtail, this place is the best I've ever had. Each plate is made to order so program in a wait or order ahead. This is no doubt a must try place.
My vegan meal today was amazing. I got the firm tofu & Ackee with Callaloo meal. It is vegan, gluten free, and nut free (uses coconut in some dishes). It is made to order, so you can ask her to leave out or customize it to your preference or to accommodate any allergies/food intolerances. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. It is a take out place with a couple stools on a small table against the wall. You can call ahead of time to place your order, so it is ready when you get there. If not, you will have to wait for it to be cooked. The wait was totally worth it though. I am glad I found this place because of other reviews on here. That is why I posted it on my Instagram & reviewed here to get the word out on this awesome place. I love that it is real healthy food, and not just vegan junk food heated up. This is my first visit at Chef Rose. I ordered Curry Snapper with Lentil Stew with Sorrel Ginger drink. The Flavor of this dish had my taste buds Exploding with Joy. Your food is made to order so the wait is about 20 minutes.. It was worth the wait!!!
The customer service is top class, Chef Rose came out and greeted me and took very good care of me, everything is prepared fresh, cook to order. From the first bite I fell in love with the food. This will always be my Spot. The quality of the food is a testament of the goodness and service that is offered here. Real Jamaican cuisine! Excellent is an understatement!
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool ,the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some real Jamaican classics and they put their own little twists on things .for their prices it’s 100% worth it.... Big up Chef Rose & the Crew 👍👍👍💕

So this was my second visit to Chef Rose, I went for the first time in July when I was there celebrating my birthday, this time I was here on business and I actually went out of my way to come here again because I could t believe how good the food was the first time. So I got the exact same thing that I had the time before..jerk chicken, cabbage and plantains and once again I was blown away by the flavor and freshness. I heard that the Ox Tail is even better, so I will be trying that on my next visit to Fort Lauderdale. I went to several restaurants while I was there and the food here was by far the best. I even went to some of the nice restaurants at the guitar casino but none compared to this. Only two problems, there is no dine-in and you might have to wait longer than usual so order way ahead..lol people there are very friendly, customers and employees. Definitely my favorite spot in Lauderdale
Food is amazing! It takes like 20 minutes because it’s made by order. Everything’s very fresh. We ordered the classic Jamaican dishes with yerk and one with brown stew. They were delicious! And the quinoa waffle it’s the best I’ve ever had. Prices are a bit high in my opinion. But it’s worth.
