Popped in today after hearing howgood the food was. Got a take out order of some Philly cheessteaks. It was AMAZING!!! Everyone was sooo friendly! Added to our list!
We did not know what to expect. What we got was a very casual spot with very good food. You order inside from a menu of diner type foods and they bring it out to your table. Nothing fancy, just good food, generous portions and fair prices.
Got a cheese steak hoagie.This thing has what, 3 ingredients? Should they not be quality ingredients then?The meat was stringy and tough making the hoagie basically inedible. I don't quite understand how someone can screw something up so simple.2 stars cause the cheese and bread were ok.
Nice little place. Plenty of parking. It was busy with people picking up and eating in. You have to order your food at the register and you are given a number to place on the table. Friendly service. The food came out quickly and was very good. I got breakfast. We sat outside which was very pleasant although the road is right there and very busy but the food was worth it.
The Whistle Stop is always so yummy. A bit of a hole in the wall secret spot--and if you don't keep your eyes out for it you will miss it. Worth the stop in for sure! One of my favorites is the traditional grilled cheese. JUST like mom used to make!
Wow, I had a burger and fries with lettuce tomato and onions.It was cooked exactly like a asked, and very juicy. If your in the area you definitely need to stop by the whistle stop.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. All sorts of choices. Inside and outside seating and I saw lots of take out customers. Very efficient operation.
This place is a consistent winner.Food is Awesome every time.I crave it and always eat here 17 times a week when I'm in town.Very nice young lady named Ireland is a great addition to a winning team.
I usually rave about this place. Haven't been in a while but have to say the quality of their sandwiches has gone down hill. The chicken Philly didn't even have enough chicken to fill the sub roll. Sad to see quality go down at a local favorite restaurant. ?
