Our server was on point for a party of 12. Was very attentive despite how busy it was. The food was exceptionally expensive and the menu had no prices so you literally had no idea how much you were spending until the bill arrived. Most of the food came out good. Some was cold on arrival and some was just plain gross. We ordered sushi which came about 40 min after dinner was served and the tempura was stale and room temp. The menu also failed to disclose the main ingredients in one of the meals which contained allergens. I cannot stress enough how wonderful our server was, however. She made up for the rest of it.
We have always enjoyed a trip to Twisted Tuna each time we are in town, but we were caught extremely off guard with our most recent visit on 08/02/2022. We ordered our typical items we like, but were baffled by the total on our bill. It was late so we did not question it at the time, but 3 of the items we ordered was $5 more than what the current menu shows. There was also an inflation fee added to our bill that we WERE NOT told about prior to ordering or the changes in menu price. Our waitress was tipped according to the total on the bill, but I have to say it is not right what you are doing. Especially for families that are on vacation while also trying to maintain a budget during these times. Shame on you Twisted Tuna! You should post this information about menu prices and added fees at your door just as you do your daily specials. We have been consistent patrons for the last 4 years, but seriously reconsidering after this.
Extremely over priced. Food was ok at best. Waitress was horrible or over worked. One of the two. Will not be back.
Had dinner here with my family. Atmosphere was great with live music, and our server was attentive and resourceful. I would recommend trying their shrimp tacos, they have a sweet/spicy taste to them. The fried calamari was crunchy and fresh. Their New England style clam chowder was creamy and delightful. However, in my opinion, due to my own past experience at other similar establishments, their specialty cocktails were not so good. I would also recommend trying other fish here instead of the red snapper. It was bland and fishy. No one at the table liked it.
Ate there with co-workers. A nice menu with good portions and food. The burger was perfectly cooked. Tried my friend's coleslaw which was sweet [?! ha ha] would rather have a little more sour. Had a great time listening to live music and of course great location next to the sea, would recommend
Tucked away in Port Salerno- happening inside or outside! The sushi is awesome! They do have a rewards card - idk when things will work again- the crew has changed - esp since Covid-19. Good food and great drinks on the water or in the bar area! ??
Nice place to eat on the water at a marina. They also have inside dining if you prefer. Large menu selection and the food was well prepared.
I took my family of 5 for lunch and the tab came to $180 before tip and credit card surcharge. Draft beers were $7.50 each. My sushi roll was previously 12.99 and now 16.99. Sushi Sunday is advertised 20% off all rolls and I did not notice that I did not receive the discount until after I left and looked at the itemized bill. Dad had barely a pound of seafood (snow crabs and mostly cheap mussels) for $50, although it did come with a decent amount of cheap corn and potatoes. Then the 4% credit card surcharge topped it all off. The food is decent but not worth the high prices. It’s on the water, but the view is looking at boats docked at the marina and not very good. There are so many other better options in the Stuart area with better food and water views. Skip this one. It was once a nice place to dine. No longer.
Looks nice online and menu quite extensive. The place inside is dark and dingy but we wanted to sit outside. No tables available with a good view but we were seated on the side of the restaurant with some view at the next to the last table. We sat there for 25 minutes. No one came to our table, but the next table had a waiter. He ignored us till my husband went to him and asked if he was our waiter. He said our waitress left for the day. You'd think he would have the brains to ask inside to get a waitress. Then he says he'll wait on us. Actually, he was very good. The food was pretty good, but you can see the place really needs TLC inside and out, and a call to Restaurant Impossible even though I'm sure they are making money since their prices are a bit high for the place. Nice try for lunch not sure if we'll be back.
a local boat captain recommended the Twisted Tuna. unlike the fishing the restaurant selection was dead on. Food selection was huge. Everything a party of 12 ordered was fresh and well prepared. The appetizer portions seemed a bit small for the price but maybe that was because nobody wanted to share. Will definitely drop in again.
