Our server was wonderful She was attentive, funny but not intrusive at all We were looking forward the green fried tomatoes but they ran out of them by the time we ordered She recommended the stuffed mushrooms and she was right, they were to die for I wish I could remember her name to mention her. My martinis (2) were excellent The timing of the food was excellent, which is very much difficult to get now. Will go back tomorrow if I could. Highly recommend this place

My first time at the Talk House. Very lively happy hour in the bar. Ate dinner in the dining room with a wonderful, attentive waitress and very good food. Had sea bass that was perfectly prepared and they poured a good drink. Happy hour and early bird from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

I requested in my reservation a particular area to sit. When I arrived they were not able to seat me there but were more then accommodating to save me a table else where in the restaurant. I thought that was very nice so I was able to dine.
Jambalaya was fantastic, spicy and loaded with chicken, sausage and shrimp but the Stuffed Snapper was a big disappointment, tasted like boiled fish. Very bland, and was fishy tasting. The stuffing and sauce were marginal but after the fishy first bite… The service was excellent and the drinks were stiff, the Blue Fin Tuna Roll was very good. We might dine there again and perhaps try something other than fish.
Excellent food and service, prices are within reason. I always enjoy our visits to Tall:House and highly recommend it!
