Hello Jeff, I just got home from your place and have to tell you the food was good... however, I ordered the Fish & Chips with a side of Cole slaw. When my food was delivered there were no "chips" (French fries). The waitress said the chips were a side. I disagree. If the word chips is in the title of the entrée, they are NOT a side. My wife loved your crab soup... but I'm not sure I'm coming back, too bad.
It was my Birthday dinner I wanted blue claw crabs I found the Quiet Crab restaurant online, I confirmed that they had crabs and made a reservation for 2 and a half dozen crabs. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly hostess / server who had our table ready for us. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet and quaint which made us feel very comfortable ! My husband and I moved here to Hobe Sound from Cape May NJ last year and the Quiet Crab is the first place we found to serve blue claw crabs which were absolutely delicious large and meaty ! We also had shrimp and fries with old bay seasoning deliciousness to say the least . We ended our feast with chocolate lava cake which our server put a candle in for a birthday wish ?Our experience at the Quiet Crab was excellent and we will go back to try everything as the food has a Maryland flair to it which we love .Thanks again !!! Very delicious crab cake true to Maryland style. However the only complaint is they were served warm not hot as expected for a party of 5. This was the second time this happened out of five visits to the quiet crab. We feel it's the best crab cake in this area. Next time we will ask server to make sure the crab cake is served hot.
Family friendly atmosphere, small, hole in the wall type place. Crab sandwich was delicious. Would have been better if there was a kids menu. But they were able to accommodate us.
1st time there and Loved IT!!!!!!Service was amazing. Our waitress was a wonderful young lady.BEST CRAB CAKES HANDS DOWN IN FLTHE CRAB SOUPALL I COULD SAY WAS OMG OMG THIS IS AMAZINGCan't wait to have blue crabs when there in.Outside location didn't look the best but when you step inside it was stepping back in time for me.Thank YOU for bringing back so many GREAT CHILDHOOD Memories ?
food is good. service is horrible! waited 15 minutes and no one came to table, we left. They used to have great service staff, not sure what happened to them.
We went here for our anniversary this past Saturday. With all the good reviews I said let's give this a try. Plus I'm very familiar with Maryland crab. First off the only item that was maybe Maryland crab was the crab cakes was I somewhat disappointed. If there was more our server did not tell us about any specials. We ordered Maryland cream of crab and grandma traditional crab soup. Both were very good. So now we order captain crunch sea scallops 1/2lb if they were sea scallops as you can see in picture they were very small, 9 fried shrimp good size and cook perfectly, 1 piece of cod it was cooked perfectly too. We also ordered QC flavor box #2 which came with 2 clusters of Alaskan snow crab legs. Let me start here they were over cooked or precooked not sure which one. They were very dry and the crab meat did not slide out of the shell as they should. The shrimp was cook perfectly so was the Maine lobster tail. The corn on the cob was almost cold/warm. The 6 pieces of sausage were a little over cooked not juicy or mouth watering as they should be. Not sure if we will be back here or not after spending over 100 buck and not see any real Maryland crab except the crab cakes. We should been more WOWED and was not..
Took my parents for a special dinner tonight as they recently moved here from Louisiana and I saw that crawfish were being brought in. Let me just say that Jeff totally outdid himself with the crawfish. They were flown in fresh today and were so yummy! My parents and I could not have been any happier. Jeff, the owner/chef came over and sat down with us to thank us for coming in. So gracious, kind, and serves outstanding, fresh seafood. We will be returning.
Great food and staff. I enjoyed the Trio, which was 1 crab cake, 6 shrimp, and king crab cluster. Super yummy.
My husband and I had a wonderful meal there, the ambience was just the right out, casual, we left feeling fat and sassy and very full, not torsion satisfied!! The girls were all amazing! Great job, great food ?❤?
