By far the best meal I have had in Florida so far. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. The stakes were done just rite. I am not a fan of mac and cheese but this place changed my mind. The loaded mac and cheese with the truffle oil is something else. The crab cakes and the spinach Artichoke dip with the crab meat were a great start to the evening. I will definitely go back.
I was visiting for the weekend and we decided on The Boathouse for dinner. From the hostess who took our reservation to the wait staff, everyone was great. We started with a half dozen oysters and a crab cake. We then ordered the Ahi Tuna Stack to share and the Roasted Beef and Spinach Salad for dinner. We finished it off with an ice cream sundae and crème brûlée. A fabulous dinner!
A hidden gem especially when coming on a weekday. Came here before on a weekend and it was packed so wasn’t able to find a table. Revisited for dinner on a weekday and we got a table on the outside patio overlooking the water.Friendly and professional service. Have good recommendations on the food choice.Limited menu choices but they were all tasty and delicious.
The food was delicious. The services was on point we had one server and all other ones were also attentive.Everyone loves to see by the ocean but seating on the top floor indoor was very nice. The quality of flavors and amount of food was really something..We went for Father’s Day and they were not rushing you at all.
Stuart Prendas drove us to our hotel in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. He was an excellent driver, had a great sense of humor, and so informative about his country!
Three of us on a Wednesday night for dinner the place was mostly empty. Got to sit outside with a lovely view of the water - they do have a wonderful location. Everything else about the meal was average at best and overpriced for sure. The service though friendly was ineffective. To start we had a spicy tuna roll followed by the Caesar salad, and then we had two of the mahi dinner specials and the grouper. The food was just okay with nothing that wowed us. At $40 an entree you kind of expect more. In addition it seemed that the front and back service had trouble coordinating as our entrees clearly sat for at least 5 minutes before bringing broad out to us. Similarly it took halfway through our entree before we received our second bottle of wine that we had ordered 15 minutes before. It seems like there are lots of great restaurants in the area and I would not see a compelling reason to go back to this one.
Exceeded expectations!! The food was absolutely amazing and legit. The stuffed shrimp was one of the best seafood dishes I've had in a very long time or even ever! It's a smaller space but very cozy. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Parking can be a bit of a bear, but it's well worth the fight to grab a bite here.
A renowned local restaurant with excellent food service and location. This restaurant features stunning views from inside and out over the eastern intercoastal area of Stuart. The service goes beyond outstanding if that is even possible. For example Al server and host approached us to determine if we wanted to move from outside to inside based on the fact that a light sprinkle of rain was potentially about to happen. This kind of interaction is almost unheard of. It did not rain and we stayed outside enjoying the view. The American style menu had plenty to offer and all the food came out properly and was enjoyed by all at the table. You cannot go wrong by dining at this iconic restaurant
Stuart Boathouse is motivated by GREED, not service or relationships. I paid $41.00 to make a reservation to bring my family for Mother's day. My elderly mother fell in the morning and hurt her back badly. I called several hours prior to the reservation to cancel and request a refund and was told there were no refunds for any circumstance. After hanging up with the hostess I called right back a few minutes later to say I would like to keep my reservation since I was going to be charged the $41 and was going to send other family in my place. They informed me the reservation was already re-booked and no longer available. Yet, they still refused to refund me. I could understand if I cost the restaurant money because they held my table and lost revenue but they re-booked my table and still refused to refund me. That is disgusting greed 100%. I will never consider dining at your establishment again. I will not bring family, clients, or out of town guests. I will never recommend your restaurant period. There are circumstances where compassion is warranted. It would have cost you nothing to do the right thing and keep a customer happy.
I had never dined in downtown Stuart and so I decided to park the car and walk around! This historic building on the water caught my eye so I decided to give it a try. As the world is currently experiencing a shortage of workers, service was a little slow but very friendly and efficient. Prices are a little on the high side but that’s also symptomatic of the current times. Since it was lunch I had the Cannonball Tacos and they were quite tasty. All in all, this is a great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner.
