Diner like vibe. Dine in or take out available. Drive thru. Inside tables and booths. Clean and presentable inside. Outside picnic tables. I like the steak burgers. Pleantly of toppings and customization for your burger. Hot dogs available. Staff friendly. Your order by kiosk inside before self seating. Family friendly. Shakes are amazing. I go here frequently.
You have taken a well established historical well run restaurant and turned itROBOTIC. If I wanted to put my food order on a screen I'd go to Wawa. Your food is still good but I'm sorry that the service is so Below Par. A shame Really!!!
Horrible service. Wasn't acknowledged when i walked in and waited over 20 mins for the food. I ordered dine in because others were eating in and i didn't know what time the lobby closed but i was only eating my meal for 30 mins after waiting 20 mins for it to arrive and was cursed out by the employees on my way out on the speaker phone. Sorry, but if i order food i should have time to enjoy it not scarf it down in 10 mins. The way the manager and employees acted was unacceptable.
Ahh. A fast food burger actually cooked when you order it. Get the double cheeseburger and fries combo and bring your own drink. Cost: $4.25. McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's suck compared to this place.
Used to be our go-to place bout 1 1/2 years ago. Gone straight downhill. Order by robot kiosk, no more servers (jobs). A upcharge for everything, slice of cheese, $.35 for cheapy sauce packet for nuggets? $3.79 for a single butter burger with 1/4 tsp of butter? Have a gift card from xmas and as soon as it's burned up we won't be back. Another Florida fail.
Tonight i tried to go through the drive-through two hours before they close just to see the employees running around the parking lot and shouting were closed. I called the store to see if they were closed and the lady that answered the phone notified me that they were open and when I let her know the experience I just had in the parking lot she told me to just put my order through the app and would not just take my order over the phone. I never write negative reviews I just feel management should be aware of this considering employees are turning customers away when there wasn’t one car in the parking lot. I don’t want my local steak ‘n Shake to shut down because they have staff that don’t care about their job.
Been a while since I have been to a steak n shake. Food is sill good but they changed the service a bit. They got rid of the server coming to the table. Not a big deal really.
If you want to stand at a kiosk and order your food with no one cleaning it between customers this is your place. Horrible service. Took 40 minutes to get 3 milkshakes and 3 burgers. I expect they will require you to cook your own food next time. Never going back. McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King at least takes your order and brings it out to you between 5 and 15 minutes.
Love the half price shakes weekdays, 2 to 4.
