What can I say about this place. It is a awesome place to go to get some good barbecue. I always get the sliced pork or the sliced pork sandwich. They have the best pork, and if I’m ever in Stuart I try to go there and pick up a meal to go to bring home to eat. The price is really good for what you get. Yes it has increased in price. I believe a little bit from a year or so ago, but it is definitely still worth the meal. Also, the staff that work there are very friendly and very courteous. I wish I could give them more than five stars. But anytime I’m in the neighborhood. I try to stop and get a meal from there. I wish we had a barbecue place like this in my hometown. Keep up the awesome work and I’ll see you again for my next meal.
Wow. A hidden gem. Salad Bar is a meal in it’s own, with the hearty hot soups. But the BBQ Baby Back Ribs are a must. There was a good portion and definitely had leftovers to go. Have another meal for lunch tomorrow. Then you have complementary soft Ice Cream Cone to go. This is a no brainer. Highly Recommend!!
5 stars for fast, friendly service. Not many for the food. This is a heat and eat restaurant. Its basically Denny's with ribs and pork. Nothing is being skillfully prepared and cooked here. This not a place for foodies. Bread was stale. Mushrooms were gross. Pudding was disgusting. Soup was good. Salad bar was pretty good and complete. Pulled pork was fairly good, actually. Free Soft serve ice cream is a nice, fun touch. Unfortunately, not recommended.
This place is great! we have always gotten friendly fast service there and the food is always good, the only thing I see wrong is maybe give a little bit more of that good BBQ on the pulled pork plates, it is a small portion but again really good, the sides are great portions. I like the fact that when you walk in everyone is nice and you have a server at your table within a few mins of sitting down. We go here often.
This was my 1st time here and it was for a very special occasion! My Brother's and I reserved thier "party room" which is off the main dining area for my parent's Suprise 80th Birthday Bash!It was on a Sat. 3/19/22 at 2:30 in the afternoon. We had about 20 friends and family for thier party! The tables were put together in the shape of a U, which gave everybody plenty of room and we were able to see everyone without backs turned. They allow you to bring and put up any decorations you'd like as well as bringing your own cake (dessert). We all ordered off the regular menu because we were told they didn't do any special platters of food/buffet style for the parties. Our Server, a female and I'm so sorry I forgot her name was incredible! She was the sole Server for all of us and did a fantastic job!We never waited for drink refills or anything else. Everytime I turned around she was there asking if we needed anything!Bravo to this young lady! ? ??So, I definitely would say this is a great Restaurant if you have a big party, I recommend them highly! The "only" criticism I would have is my Mother's (the Birthday girl) Chop Steak wasn't very good at all, she only had a bite and left the rest.It was cooked to her preference (Med Rare) but the taste was terrible according to her. That would be the only thing wrong of the whole 2+ hours we were there. But I'm still giving 5 Stars because everything else was great!
She had rack of ribs and I had the sampler dinners. Sides were baked potatoes and beans and coleslaw. All items were served hot and delicious. Our server Laure G was very helpful.
The chicken was delicious and the ribs were also. The only thing we didn't care for was the cornbread which was way to sweet and we didn't feel it was cooked all the way, there should be a bit of grittiness to it. I liked the coleslaw but my husband thought it needed more horseradish. We will definitely be going back.
Fast, courteous, and prompt service unlike sonny's BBQ. We left sonny's and came here... highly recommend SPC for your next BBQ meal. The food here was really good and portions were just right. I had the sliced pork on garlic bread.
Food was what you'd expect from a southern style BBq place. The waitress told me the burgers aren't frozen, but unless they have a burger press, it sure looked frozen. They have a salad bar as well for the lighter side. The Turnip greens were fantastic.
It is probably corporate policy which may be the foundation of my complaint. When I go into a Bar-B-Que restaurant or joint, I have an expectation. The baby back ribs and the sweet potato were great everything else was not. The turnip teens were the worst I have ever had. You served some kind of spread that tasted like it was pure Crisco. My friends sandwich was the most anemic excuse for brisket which was dry and there was little of it. Anyone who knows good Bar-B-Que would rate this place a 0.
