Bad experience tonight with an online curbside order. Ordered two meals online around 6:45PM. The confirmation said the order would be ready at 7:30PM. I got there a few minutes before 7:30 and then called at 7:30 as instructed to let them know I had arrived. The girl told me the order wasn't ready, but they were working on it and would bring it out in a few minutes. I was left waiting for almost a half hour. Around 7:55PM an employee came out to give another customer (who arrived a while after I did) their order. Circling back, the girl asked me what the order was. I gave her my name, and she went in and came back out a couple minutes later with my order. They didn't look terribly busy, and I didn't get an apologize or explanation, so I don't know why they were so late with my order. The receipt has the time 7:29:32. I don't know if that was when the order was ready and it was just sitting there or if that's when they started working on it.
We shared fried pickles appetizers. She had pulled pork dinner with sweet potato and I had bbq trio with fries and baked beans. Portions were huge and we took home leftovers. Always delicious and wonderful service too.
Went for my Birthday lunch and enjoyed every morsel I could get my hands on.Brisket, Ribs, Sliced and Chopped Pork, I tried it all,and washed it down with some honest to goodness Real Sweet Tea.They had veggies and side dishes, but I can't remember eating anything other than the BBQ'd meats, in fact I wanted to go again the next day to try the Chicken and the side dishes with a dessert option.Parking is good, easy to find from road, prices are low for the Quality you receive.
Always a fan of Sonny'sThis one is one of the older style stores, smaller than most but well maintained. They had a steady stream of customers. We usually get the lunch specials regardless of the time of day, turkey and sliced pork. My sliced pork was very good, better than most Sonny's. Unfortunately my wife's turkey was unusually dry. The beans, French fries and coleslaw were all up to snuff.I would like to give a special shout out to the waitresses of this store, they really hustled and took care of everyone in a timely manner - recommended
Got lunch today for the first time at this location. My 5 year old had a burger from the kids menu. It was way too charred for him. The waitress immediately went and had another burger made for him and was super nice about it. I hate sending food back, but trying to get a 5 year old to eat something they don't like is harder than trying to sew with cooked spaghetti. Thanks for the great service!
We normally loves Sonny’s BBQ. Have been to several in 3 States.This was the worst service and food ever. I was embarrassed to bring friends here. Hostess was rude. Took 45 minutes to get our meal. Brisket was overcooked , ribs were fatty and sides were served cold. Totally disappointed. Floors were dirty.DO NOT GO HERE EVER.
You can't mess up orders and then yell at customers that its not your problem or fault and expect them to return for fair BBQ at best.And Yes I already emailed your corporate address that you reply to all complaints. Still waiting for one of your team members to call, Maybe they will yell at me some more too.
DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!! JUST FOUND OUT IT WAS CLOSED BECAUSE LIVE ROACHES WERE FOUND!!!!!! I will never return to this restaurant again the food quality has gone down hill. My regular server was not there the last time I went. I was served by Kathy the manager on duty and she was very rude. I also noticed that she treats her employees with no respect. I Definitely do not recommend this restaurant anymore. There are a quite few other bbq places around the area that serve better food and treat people with respect .
It had been many years since I'd eaten at a Sonny's so I wasn't sure what to expect when I took a friend there for her birthday. It was fantastic! The food was delicious, I had chicken & she had ribs and we both had plenty to take home. Service was also excellent and friendly. Will definitely go back.
Love the redneck egg rolls ? wish we had Sonny's up north! Very good barbecue. We eat here every time we visit Stuart FL
