After making a reservation for outside we learned upon arrival that the upcoming bad weather meant either we sat with pouring rain and our food or nothing No wait , no explanation just rude service After receiving our water we decided that the the Rude service was an indication of poor food

Good service and good food!

We were 3 couples sitting outside on a perfect night. We has kiocchi (like gnocchi), ahi tuna carpaccio, oysters Rockefeller and raw oysters - all amazing!! For dinner we had the horseradish grouper, shrimp and grits, veal (was breaded and fried), swordfish special, and salmon. It was all amazing! (With a special nod to the salmon and shrimp and grits). For dessert we had key lime (very good) and brownie (just ok). Mel was our server and so sweet. All in all we recommend and would definitely return

Our waitress Katie made our experience very special. Her recommendations and description of menu items was spot on. The preparation of the dishes was perfect. They had a baked oyster special today that was an award winner. I even told Katie I didn’t love the wine I ordered, even though it wasn’t bad I didn’t believe it to be the correct representation of the varietal. Katie brought another varietal for us to try and accept. Restaurant including the service deserved 5 stars!!

For such a pricey menu I was shocked at the lack of care patrons receive here. The one restroom was in the back corner, such that I had to squeeze through a couple tables (felt bad for the folks sitting at those tables) and pull back a filthy curtain where I entered a weird little room where a worker was getting stuff out of a big cooler, only to enter a very neglected restroom. When you are paying $35-75 per entree, you kind of expect the servers to be attentive and nice and the restroom to be clean. Sorry... I don't typically give such grumpy reviews, but this place brought it out in me. I'd have taken more stars off except that the food really was cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef.

Shrimp & Grits was disappointing - the grits were so salty that I could not even eat them. Others at my table tasted it & agreed. The shrimp was fine. Chef needs to taste & make revisions. All other appetizers and entrees were well liked.

Great Oysters! Wonderful friendly staff.

We were visiting the 32 annual Art fest in Stuart and decided to grab a light lunch. We strolled down to the Riverwalk Cafe and Oyter bar. Thinking it was a tiny burger and fries cafe, we thought this would be a perfect light lunch restaurant. We were already thinking a BLT and fries then we would stroll down the boardwalk. To our surprise, it was Totally not a burger Cafe, but it was not a waste of time. Our waiter John arrived within minutes of us being seated, offering to get our drinks, we ask advice on the food there and what he would suggest. We had the Fiocchi pasta as an appetizer and the lightly toasted chicken salad sandwich that we shared. John and his food suggestions were on point. We will definitely visit this place again for their dinner menu, which is totally different than the lunch. We ate inside, but they also have outside dinning.

?Wonderful food, terrific wait staff, but it can be a little noisy.

We met relatives here for lunch and left satisfied. Our server was very pleasant and competent. The food was quite tasty from the baked oyster appetizer to the Cesar salad with fried oysters, to the fish tacos. While called the River Walk and near it, don't expect a water view unless you're seated outside and sitting in one direction. . . .
