Family owned for many years . . extremely reasonably price . they have an Italian beef sandwich that my friend gets every time and raves . . they also have a thin Chicago pizza that is great .. within a block of the shops . . parking in back as street parking is limited . . patio or inside dining
Living in Chicagoland for 30 years, I was skeptical but they are LEGIT! The pizza was amazing. The sauce was perfect, the cornmeal dough was wonderful, and crumbled sausage was seasoned perfectly! Even the beef sandwich took us back “home”. Add the 312 brew and I felt like I should have been freezing near the lake instead of relaxing in Stuart.
Im fairly new to florida from chicagoland and have been searching for the best pizza, and let me tell you what this is The most authentic Chicago pizza in florida!!!! Crust was perfect, sauce was tasty and that sausage....uggggh just Absolutely amazing!!! Phillie is amazing and went above and beyond for us. Will definitely be going back thank you for the great hospitality.
The atmosphere here is hard to beat! The only thing better than the pizza was the service! Our waitress was so sweet and funny! Thanks for the good food and great conversation! The pizza was perfect, crust was flaky and crisp, perfectly cooked, loaded with cheese and so many toppings! You definitely get your moneys worth here! Love that they employ vets too!
This place has really lost it's luster. None of the tables were clean and I had to wipe down one myself. Our waitress couldn't even remember if we got sweet tea or regular. They made us the wrong size pizza and when you aren't impressed or happy with your meal......that's aggravating. The dough was....like cardboard as some have said. I looked around at everyone's pizza coming out and was impressed. It looked good. Fresh! Well made! Ours had obviously been sitting for a minute. My chicken parm. qas a joke. It says crispy on the menu. I got grilled slices smothered in cheese over dried out pasta because my meal had also been sitting for a minute. I've been working in the food industry for a long time, especially pizza. I'm from up north and my first job was in a mom and pop pizza shop. This....this was a sad day for this once beloved pizza shop.
I have been intending to try this place for over ten years. (I don't eat out very much.) I discovered there is a nice covered patio in the back of the restaurant and seating for 14 more inside. I enjoyed the thin crust sausage pizza and some of my dining companions had the Italian beef sandwich. Everyone raved about the meals. There is a lot more on the menu I would like to explore. This is not just a pizza place. My group had excellent service. I am not going to wait 10 more years to go again.
I've never had Chicago style pizza before and was excited to try it.I was told that Pusateri's had very good pizza.It started out very positive.I was greeted immediately and allowed to choose my table.The menu looked great.Nice, clean and quaint dining room.Convenient location.Fast service.Friendly and helpful staff.Great selection of toppings.Unfortunately, this is when it took a turn.A beautiful looking, golden brown and well done thin crust pizza was brought to the table.It was cut into little square slices which made it easy to eat.I was super disappointed after taking that first bite and expecting a delicious pie.Although the toppings and sauce were excellent, the crust tasted like cardboard.Reminded me of a frozen pizza crust.I hate giving bad reviews, but the crust is really important in what makes a great pie.Perhaps the dough was not prepped correctly this day.All I know is that I'm a big pizza fanatic and tried pizza from NYC to Napoli.I left feeling let down.C+
