On the water. Good food good service
We have not been to Mulligan's in a while so we stopped in for dinner. Our dinners were very good and the service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Our server was friendly, polite and knowledgeable of the menu. I highly recommend Mulligan's Beach House Bar & Grill in Stuart.
Everything was amazing and the service was fantastic
On Wednesday nights, there is a great band that plays 1970’s music here. Great drinks, friends, and appetizers added to the music makes for a very entertaining evening.
We spent two weeks in the Stuart Florida area. Ate at many local restaurants. Also had dinners at several of the chain restaurant. This place isn't worth it. The food was tasteless and poorly prepared. The service was marginal at best. The environment noisy. I'm not sure what entree I would like to feature in this review. It could be the dried out hamburger. Or it could be the tasteless grouper sandwich. How about the cold french fries? The highlight of the meal: a reasonably decent iced tea. All of this with a $50 tab. Forget it! Just a note. Apparently this location has been recently sold. This review is only for the restaurant in Stuart Florida. A restaurant with a similar name at Jensen Beach was very enjoyable.
We’ve so far of eating at this restaurant five times the first three times I’ve had the steak and ribs combo where the meat has been very tender are the hamburgers which are very good and we Raven had the bacon bloody Mary which they’ve done very well but the last two times we have come we’ve been disappointed they must’ve change the cuts of meat the steak is very chewy I would not recommend it anymore the fried fish is just over battered there’s more batter than fish and this time my husband got the grouper salsa and it was very unfortunate never in my life he couldn’t even cut the fish with the fork he needed a knife to cut the fish it was blackened with a little tropical salsa on top which was already starting to turn the fish itself if you can cut with a fork and when he was cutting it up with a fork and knife there was very fatty areas on it I had my husband give me a teeny piece to try very fishy but never in my life have I seen grouper like that just very sad that it’s going downhill even when you order the bacon bloody Mary the very first time we had it it was the best and the second time was very good from then on they just changed everything around and it’s been going downhill very disappointed I would not recommend this place
We had a great experience here! We sat out on the deck and although the time we went was windy and cold the staff treated us and our dog wonderfully! Every staff member that came by gave him pets and loves. He definitely appreciated the water bowl and all the treats as well! Very dog friendly place to come eat at. The mimosas were delicious and so was the food!
I will have to say my experience was not good, we had a waitres with attitude problem, and food took around 50 min to come out, while eating we notice the other waitress very nice so probably just the one in out table had and issue, taking oír order. Place is nice, view was nice.
I feel this place has been going downhill. We gave it another try this morning as my husband likes their bloody Marys. Well to start breakfast, his Bloody Mary was missing the shrimp. We both ordered home fries and a few minutes before food came they told us they did not have home fries so we’re substituting with Tater-tots. Their tater-tots are not good and I learned that last time. I disappointed they told me this 20 MINUTES AFTER I ordered my meal. Then, our food comes and my western omelette looked DISGUSTING. Only thing that was okay for my meal was the English muffin. The check was brought to me and they wanted to charge me for an entire meal despite me saying I did not want tater-tots. I told them that they needed to discount our check as they served us a side I told them we did not want and was not going to eat. The manager never came out to say something. The check came back again and only discounted 1 of our meals. (My husband also got tater-tots that he didn’t want.) I just paid and left at this point because I was over it. I took my loss & will not be returning there for breakfast again. The server was nice (tipped her well still as the food was not her fault) but I feel bad that she has to work in a place with such poor food.
We are usually very easy going people but this was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. To start, we had called to make reservations for my aunts birthday and when we arrived they did not have our reservation (if only we knew what was to come we would have left and ordered pizza). The only thing that was pleasant about our experience was our server Sarah she was so sweet and really tried her best to amend this situation. As for the food- The firecracker shrimp appetizer was really good. Out of 7 entrees we received only 2 were even edible. The lobster roll was pathetic, very small portion and extremely over cooked served with cold mac and cheese (I wish I took a picture before we sent it back), The tuna bowl (as pictured) looks like it was spam, the southwest bowl the avocado looks like it’s sat out for days and the chicken was extremely dry. The only 2 meals people somewhat enjoyed were the Mahi Rueben and pulled pork sandwich. We asked to speak with the manager before we left to share our experience and concerns and he told us he had a new staff in the kitchen and is very proud of their performance all day, “he is not embarrassed at all by his restaurant, he apologized for our table”. Reluctantly he comped the 2 meals that were not even touched (the tuna bowl and lobster roll)The cocktails were very good- maybe for happy hour & apps this place would be tolerable but I would not recommend coming here for a meal and we will surely not return.
