We decided to return here after 10 years! We visited in 2012 and my husband remembered how good their Grouper Reuben was and decided to go back when we finally made our way back to this side of Florida. They were really packed for a Tuesday but that may be because of the holiday. The dining area is small but trust me it will be well worth the wait if you do have to wait.I'm glad we stopped on our way out and the fact that the sandwich was just as good as before was awesome! I had the lobster roll along with half a pound of fried oysters. They were delicious. My children had the fried mahi mahi which was great. It may be a while before we go back but when we're in the area again we'll definitely stop by! Staff was friendly and the environment was quaint. Definitely a historic gem in Stuart.
The chef was out so half the menu was unavailable. The seafood soup was full of seafood and very good. I didn't taste the conch but heard it was good. The grouper only served fried was essentially nuggets which it didn't say on menu. It was excellent. The shoestring fries were what they were they slaw was ok. The Mahi was very thin and cooked a minute took long a little dry. We ordered the puppies after our mains when they came and I reminded our sever who was super busy. It's a small local place. She said they were working on them. I said we were good since we were done and she apologized. As we were paying the bill, she brought us the puppies to go on the house for the confusion. They were excellent. Iook forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu. Again with a full house and people waiting, our server whose name i forgot did a very good job and taking care of us
I come here every time I am in the area. The specials are always the best. I've never been disappointed. Love the small family style restaurant. Yum!
King Neptune is a small restaurant with good food, and good service. I tried the Mahi Mahi on Caesar salad with teryauke sauce. It was very good.
Great service and the food is delicious. We were served very quickly and our server was very attentive with great demeanor. I will be back and recommend it to those who appreciate great seafood.
Don't get the fries, and don't ask for them well-done or crispy, because they're unsalted and hollow inside. Pick a different side dish. The seafood is simply prepared and tastes fresh.
Do not passed up this gem! 8 tables, many areas of stool seating too. Our server was so great! Good recommendations and accommodating. My pistachio crusted mahi and black beans were perfectly delicious! My fiancés jerked shrimp and grits will make go back to order my own! Go and enjoy!!
I visited King Neptunes restaurant while on vacation in FL and was very pleased with the service and quality of food. Emilee was our server and treated us extremely well. She was quick to get our drinks in and made sure we had everything we needed. We will certainly return on our next visit!
YUM! Our first time here and we will definitely be back! The reviews online were really good, so we figured we should check it out. I had the crabcake sandwich and my husband had the “triple tail tacos” and both were delicious! Im so glad we stopped in
Man, I love this place. Try to get there every time I’m in town, which isn’t all that often. Not much to look at from the outside as it’s a small storefront on the corner in Port Salerno. But the food? Just excellent. Prepared spot on every time. I usually get the jerk mahi over a Caesar Salad. My dining companion the other night had scallops, which were excellent. Given the limited space, you may have to wait for a table but it is worth it.
