The outside looks rough, but inside I was transported to a local 1980 type local bar restaurant down south. The band and food were excellent and the prices and service even better. Loved it
Absolutely fabulous! Perfectly cooked rock shrimp & juicy fried oysters. The glass of Pinot is BIG; and the orange cake was EXTRAORDINARY
The crab bisque is absolutely spot on, so delicious! Every dish they serve is perfectly cooked, exactly the way it should be! The service impeccable. My favorite place to go for seafood and customer service.
Heard great things, experienced better. Fresh, perfectly prepared seafood in a kitschy, down home atmosphere. Our server provided excellent service with a genuineness not often found these days. A real gem.
Nautical theme. Charming. Four of us came for lunch. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrées: conch, shrimp, oysters, crab, scallops. Plenty of food. We washed it down with beers. There's a nice selection of brews to choose from. Friendly atmosphere. There's live entertainment on some evenings, but we were here to early for it. My rating is actually a 4 1/2.
Sometimes you know what you are hungry for, but it isn’t always that easy to find the place that serves it up. Today my friends and I were craving a Mahi sandwich. We were in an unfamiliar area so we opened the Yelp App and started reading reviews for restaurants nearby. There was a little place that came up, so I started reading the reviews. Each review said, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” or “ Don’t pass on this place based on its appearance.” We decided to try it out. From the outside, the restaurant didn’t seem appealing. DO NOT ALLOW THE APPEARANCE TO SWAY YOU. Let me say again, trust the reviews. Every review we read said they had great seafood. We trusted the Yelp community and I am so glad we did. We ordered drinks, fish dip with a side of jalapeños and the “Reds” Argentinian warm shrimp appetizer that our server suggested. He said is tasted like lobster dipped in warm butter. He was absolutely right. Yum! The Fish dip was great too, served with crackers, cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes. It was great! We all three ordered the Mahi Sandwich - Blackened, with a side of fries. Their tartar sauce had a delish amount of dill in it and so fresh I asked for more. The Mahi sandwich was exactly what we were craving. Everything about it was so good. Definitely try this place. This is a Bar and grill. Don’t expect some fancy, “white tablecloth” type of restaurant. The service was great, the food was great, and the music was great, so this place deserves all the stars. Everything we ordered we would go back and reorder. I would also order double of those Argentinian “Red” shrimp! Enjoy!
Don’t be deceived by the storefront and the decor, this place serves up the best fried oysters south of New Orleans. Who cares the Christmas tree is still up in April!
Great crab bisque and even better softshell crab. Good selection of beers and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this place if you are near port Salerno. I'd even take a 40 min ride to get here it has that good of food.
My wife and I make an annual visit to Crabbys. Again it didn't disappoint. Don't expect elegant ambiance just great food. I started with the crab bisque, delicious! I then had the catch which was Tripletail. Done to perfection. My wife always orders the steak sandwich. Again great. We finished by splitting a piece of Key Lime Pie. Service was spot on. Can't wait to go back!
Food was great and service was excellent. One of my favorite places to come when I visit Florida.
