The food was not very warm and my eggs were cold and under cooked I have been here a couple of times and it’s the always the same. The service is excellent
This used to be our favorite restaurant in Stuart for late breakfast or lunch. Lately it seems like the place has declined. Above where we sat this time was the A/C return vent. It dripped water down on the table and it was so dirty and disgusting full of dust. The table was sticky and had a large red stain on it. Our server must have been new and he forgot to get our drinks. We had to ask someone else for our order. The food used to be so good but even that has declined in quality. We don't mind paying the higher prices but the quality should be there. I hope the manager reads this and improves the problems.
I ate there a few years ago and found it average. We went back 2 week ago. Even though there was no-one waiting in line to be seated, we were sent back outside to put our name/party of 2/phone number etc. on an electronic stand, so we could be called when our table was ready - odd system - how hard is it to keep a written list inside I wondered? When we were seated the waiter wasn't very friendly at all. My breakfast came with coffee but he never brought it. So after 10 minutes I asked for it. He never came back to offer a refill over the next 30 minutes. He was just inattentive and not motivated to put any effort into anything. The food was average too, although more unique than most menus in town. The following week we decided to give it another try as we're tired of our usual restaurants after 20 years in town. Same song and dance with the electronic reservation system. And unfortunately, we got the same waiter! He didn't offer straws and when we asked he forgot to bring them. So (15 minutes later) we asked the person who brought our food to give us straws. Once again I wasn't offered a refill of coffee. I asked for one when he brought the bill which was a bit too late really as we were ready to leave. They don't give you a bill to look over. They hand it to you and wait for you to give them a credit card to run at the table with their "gadget." The minimum tip suggested is 18%, then 20% I think and "custom." All this while your waiter stands waiting and watching! He didn't deserve 15% to be honest but I pushed the 18% button as I felt pressured to get him out of my space. He didn't offer a receipt so I can't give his name. That visit I really did like the food! So would you believe we're gluttons for punishment! We decided to go back last Sunday but on the way over we were plotting a way to get a different server! But as we drove up, being Mother's day, there was a long line outside and we just drove off. All in all, I would give the food an 8/10, the intrusive electronic systems 1/10 and this mystery waiter 4/10!
We have been in Berry Fresh every week for months and it is always excellent. Today was terrible. My biscuits were so hard I couldn’t cut them with a knife. They brought me another one, same thing. I would have thought they would have adjusted bill. But they are great most of the time.
I was brought here by my brother, he is a Stuart native, so I had some local insight. The service was really friendly and helpful.Plus the food was awesome!Great place for breakfast!
I could not ask for a better breakfast! The redneck eggs Benedict was so delicious and hearty. The eggs were perfect, I highly recommend it. The blueberry fritters were also a must try and a great treat. Loved the service and food!
Loved it so much we went for breakfast 3 days in a row! The coffee was excellent and they had heavy cream for the coffee. The staff was friendly and fast. The food was great. My favorite dish was the OMG shrimp and grits but the banana stuffed French toast was a close second.
Delicious food great service and most of all supe cozy
Redneck Benedict was amazing ! Perfectly poached egg with the most delicious sausage gravy to make a memorable morning breakfast. I ate mine with some fresh sliced tomatoes to bring some delightful acid to the dish. Love the blueberry fritters too!
Today I went to Stuart Berry Fresh for Lunch. My previous experiences at this restaurant had been good. We sat down and our server promptly asked us our beverage choices. After looking over the menu we selected the lunch specials from Column A and Column B.I ordered the quiche and soup for my cousin and a 1/2 Sandwich and soup for me. The soup was delicious and the food good. When I got the bill I noticed that I had been charged for a full quiche meal and one Lunch special. My server had retired for the afternoon and another server was handling our table. I called her over to the table and said that I had been charged improperly for my meals and that I ordered a quiche/soup from the lunch special but was charged for a full meal. She told me that she brought out a full quiche plate vs just 1/2 and order and that we had eaten it. How was I suppose to know the difference between a full order and 1/2 order? The quiche order was approximately the size of my 1/2 sandwich. She then said if I we hadn't eaten it all she would consider not charging us for the whole meal but we ate it. I could see that I was getting nowhere with the conversation so I just paid the bill and left. This is no way to treat an honest customer! I will not be back if this is your customer service. I would have told them when the meal was brought out if it was obvious that we were getting a full serving vs a 1/2, but that was not the case.
