Won’t be coming back to this location. The staff weren’t rude but were slow and clearly incompetent. No order in the place as they couldn’t keep track of who ordered what and what people were waiting for. Food was cold even after waiting in the store for 10 minutes for an online order that was set an hour before I arrived. Cost too much for mediocre service and mediocre food. Nothing “fast” about it.
Do not get the Thigh Bites. 10% meat, the rest just breading. Most of the pieces are super small, half of the pieces I can't even tell if it has chicken in it or if it's just straight sauced breading.
Started calling this place @ 7 PM in hopes of having my food and being back home by @ the very least 8PM lol. They answered after a twenty rings or so and say can you hold on a second LOL. Get in my car start driving down while on hold for 12 & a 1/2 min then it clicks over to an automated service that ask you if you know your parties extension lol that I don't think anyone knows unless you work there so by this time I have arrived already. Walked in the lady is like give me a second. Lol all working there just keep looking @ tickets and no one ever came to the counter. They only have three people working there. I'd say 99.98% of the time I end up giving my business to Pizza Hut next door or Culver's because at least @ Pizza Hut they pick up take your order immediately tell you it's gonna be 15 min on a good night and only 20 on a really super bad night. Hell Culver's took my order and I had my food and was walking it to get in my car within about 6 max 7 min tops. I just barely made it home a smidge before 8PM. I used to work in Clearwater and I LOVE the wings here but started call after work in a Publix parking lot right one night sat on hold there for a half hour. Decided to start driving that way was still on hold getting ready to enter this place 47 min I was on hold so I already know from experience you need to give yourself no less than an hour or more to actually get food from this place.... wishing there was a lot more Wingstop's in the St Petersburg area...great wings but the service here is absolutely rediculous!!! It's a major bummer because the wings are so good ?
WORST. STORE. EVERFood is OK, but If I can give 0 stars I will. Ordered from there a couple of times. Customer service is mediocre at best. This time I decided to order delivery so I don’t have to deal with frowning faces. Currently sitting and waiting for an order that was supposed to be here 40 minutes ago. Trying to call the store to cancel the order and nobody picks up the phone. Pretty much stuck waiting for food I have no idea when will arrive. This town has so many other much better wing places. Never again…
Gotta love it. Rick Ross the boss ? the chicken is nice and crispy and the fries are to die for they make them from the original potato ? I also like the fact that you can choose the seasoning on the fries just like the chicken
This place is probably the worst at takeout in the st Pete area. They consistently manage to provide a disappointing and often frustrating experience.Take my last visit for example. I showed up almost a half hr late because they rarely have the food ready on time.So I enter and as always, there's no one there to greet or even acknowledge my existence because they are all in the back cooking. They see me, ignore me, continue cooking. After about 2-3 min they ask me if its pick up. I say yes and provide name in order. She then gives a subtle weak nod and continues cooking without a word back. No estimated time. No let me check on that for you. Nothing.Then about 5 min later she takes a customer who walked in. Takes their order. Meanwhile I'm just standing there patiently waiting right in front of her besides the customer so I couldn't even give her the benefit of the doubt and presume maybe she had forgotten about me.Then she looked at me, turned around and was about to have the AUDACITY to the back again! I finally reminded her of my existence. She then found the order almost IMMEDIATELY waiting right on the to go shelves (it was just sitting there ready to go this ENTIRE time) and gave it to me as if she couldn't have done that ten min ago!!! Not even a courtesy apology.Quite to the contrary, the connotation I sensed in her demeanor and overall disposition was more tantamount to irritation and dismissal than any kind of empathy or apologetic tone.Horrible experience. And this is kind of the normal expectation for this place. Wish there was another one nearby. Maybe I'll check other options. I can't keep having dinner with a side of frustration.
Never have I walked Into a fast food spot and waited for over an hour to get the food. I’m appalled at how slow, UNFRIENDLY, & unwelcoming this experience was. We ordered 15 wings at 3:03 pm on a Monday (3/21/22) & received it at 3:56. The staff alone should not be working here. They clearly hate their jobs with the I don’t give an F attitude. We had to ask twice for an update and they wouldn’t even look up at the front to help customers. When we stated we waited one hour, the girl just says “I just got here” are you kidding? I worked in the restaurant for 8 years and this was absolutely insane. Do better. It’s a fast food joint. ONE HOUR? Never again.
Man I hate doing this over something so petty, but in retrospect of today’s economic situation, service and convenience is about all that can make or break ones desire to con’t doing business with a company or in this case a food chain. I ordered 15 wings, didn’t complain about the price nor the wait time, everything was fine until I ate the few I intended on and prepared the rest for my girl work lunch, only to find out I was shorted wings, I called and management REFUSED to rectify the situation, unless I drove ALL the way back up there, which we all know how we’re feeling it in our tanks (octane). So I’m forced to discontinue my relationship with them. Sucks but I guess their content with losing a customer, after asking several times to meet me in the middle ??♂️
The reviews were correct, decided to try this location after eating at a different location. When i took the first bite on multiple pieces of chicken wings (boneless) most of them were chewy, grey, and looked to be old. I would recommend going to another location to avoid these problems.
I don’t expect much from wingstop because I’ve never had a good experience at one, but this has been the worst by far. I got the driest chicken thighs, like literally it crunches like a pork rind… we said something to a worker and she claimed that it’s supposed to be that way. Sounds like pure laziness to me. Not to mention the burnt French fries. I waited for over 30min to receive burnt food. Way to fail.
