Came here by chance while having a night out with friends. Atmosphere is laid back and inviting. Food service was quick and delicious and bartenders were responsive and quick. Live music was great. Will definitely be back!

Before I get into the review of the food, the blonde bartender with the large mustache was definitely giving racist vibes to the colored people in our group. I won’t rate the establishment poorly for it only because majority of the kitchen staff were super sweet and welcoming, just that one guy that was a real a**hole.Okay so, super cute spot, felt like a great vibe. They have live music sometimes and a spinning wheel of prizes, very open air atmosphere. The fish was comparable to the kind you get by the beach for sure. Like amazing quality fresh fillets, perfectly cooked rice and veges. If you’re in St.Pete and you’re not trying to go all the way out to the beach, this is a great downtown alternative that kinda mimicks beach vibes. Drinks were well crafted!

We stopped in the Trophy Fish on Sunday night after the St Pete Grand Prix. The place was hopping and had a great atmosphere. We got a table right away and ordered drinks. There are not any servers so you order your drinks at the bar and your food at another window. The menu is extensive and includes many different seafood choices and apps. My wife and I ordered the sea food boil ($60.00) and it included, a split lobster tail, huge shrimp, clams, corn, sliced sausage and potatoes. There was enough I gave some shrimp away to my son. Not crazy seasoned but tasty. It is totally out doors and dog friendly. Will for sure go back on our next visit.

Not even 7pm on a Friday night. Came in with a bridal party of 10. We all just wanted simple drinks, with great tippers. It’s a shame we had to wait 20minutes at a near dead bar top. Just went to the bar across the way.

This is my second trip to Trophy Fish and its been similar. Drinks are expensive but not great. Margaritas were weak at $13 bucks then after hearing thats what we do it from the bartender and paying for another shot it was middle road tequila and it was still not good. Charge big $ then use better quality booze or charge less. Fish you order at window again high price but average quick serve style food. High prices average quality with defensive staff who are tired of complaints. Too many better places in the Burg.

The vibe. The food. The amazing drinks and of course wonderful staff. There is no place like Trophy Fish! Go for the fresh fish & hush puppies and stay for the “Fin & Tonic” cocktail. It’s devine! Cannot wait to come back!

Fresh seafood, great atmosphere. It's 30$ a plate and there paper! I never minded paying it but on our last visit they now charge me for ice in my old fashion and additional for sides. Good luck to you Trophy Fish.

You have to stand in line to order your food. Then you have to claim a table. Then you have to go to the bar to get your drinks...wow...but, this is a tipped establishment? And the suggested tip for serving myself is 25%? It was interesting to observe a bunch of staff just standing around, while the guests were all running around doing the work. Very clever trick. Also, the drink I ordered wasn't made with the ingredients posted on the menu, when I pointed out they weren't using the liquor stated...they simply remarked it had been subbed out. Well great, but let me know so I can decide if I still want that beverage. The sub out changed the drink completely. When we were done with our appetizers...we realized we'd have to get up and stand in line again in order to get our main courses...too much work, we left and ate someplace that provides service. Another pretty venue, that lacks the rest of what makes a solid restaurant.

Great atmosphere, live music, and excellent food and service.

Disappointed in their customer service.
