Terrible service and price gouging.I ordered the same thing I always get at every token ramen in tampa Bay.Black garlic ramen with pulled pork chashu, instead of the fat riddled sliced pork chashu. I get the bill and they charged me 4 bucks extra for scooping instead of tonging some pork out of a hot bed. When I brought up to both workers I was given a run around and in the end told that's what they do because they are not part of the real token ramen chain. So if you want to pay 20 bucks for soup this is your joint.Don't get me wrong the food is great. I'll continue to eat at other tokens just not here. The tiki docks next door is a much better option.
I asked for a black tea wow milk cap which is described as black tea sweetened by honey boba with a milk cap on top. The man working there was new but he had no idea what was going on and the people working over him didn't help either. Then when I get my drink, it is 100% something different than what I ordered. A very light milky drink with a milk cap on top no honey boba. They acted like I didn't know what I was talking about even though I showed them their own menu that says so. I asked for a refund and she did not want to give it to me she just kept saying she would make me another one the right way. Then she did which means I was right from the beginning and if I hadn't said anything I would have left with some mystery drink. Never again, I will get my boba elsewhere.
absolutely best ramen place ive been hands down!! the broth is creamy and the noodles are absolutely delicious! the portions are good! it’s so well seasoned! everything about this is perfect! the boba tea is amazing. i got the milk tea and at the center of each tapioca boba was a slight sweetness to it. we got the pork buns and they were absolutely delicious! highly recommend you try them! the bread is so good and don’t even get me started on the seasoning. the cherry on top was the little guava candies they give out! it’s just a nice touch! we went to florida for vacation and we went to token every chance we got. honestly, if i’m ever in st. petersburg, i’m definitely going back!
Food was delicious. I got the chicken and beef hibachi. I also tried the coconut milk tea. I will definitely come back. The people were very friendly.
The boba here is actually the same franchise as kung fu tea you see around the Bay Area. The boba tea here is one of the better places to get boba tea in St Pete. The boba balls are cooked just right as they’re soft and chewy. They don’t harden so quickly after sitting in a cold beverage after some time. The variety of flavors here are very good. I’ll definitely be back for boba 4.5/5I finally got to try some of their food items including a spicy tonkatsu ramen and chicken wings. The chicken wings were nicely fried, but you can tell these are the same wings that are served at 7-11. They’re not terrible, they’re just not anything special. Wings 3.1/5I want to mention that I’ve had their “ninja chicken nuggets” before and they’re great. They’re like a Japanese style fried chicken nuggets. They get a 4/5As for the ramen, it’s not great. The soup is bland, the charsiu is very disappointing as it was dry and not tender at all. When you’ve had a good piece of charsiu you’ll never forget it. Unfortunately the charsiu was forgettable. The seasoned egg was actually not bad. Lastly the noodles tasted and felt like they were straight out of an instant ramen package. Ramen 2.1/5So let me just say I’m thankful there’s a boba tea place on the southside of St Pete. I don’t know why they don’t advertise as a boba tea place because that is their absolute bread and butter here. The boba is some of the best, anytime I see a Kung Fu Tea in another city I know I won’t be disappointed with their boba. However, the food is not so great at Token Ramen. I know they have other items like the hibachi stuff. I’m sure that tastes fine.Overall I’ll be back for the boba for sure and maybe some chicken nuggets, but I’ll mostly skip the food.
1st time here, the ramen is absolutely delicious! Clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!
Not sure why the lady did this but I'm keto so I ordered my meal without rice and subbed it for extra vegetables for $15 all I got was 4 pieces of shrimp some very small pieces of chicken maybe 7 pieces of broccoli florets and 3 very thin pieces of carrots. Now I actually love vegetables and broccoli is my favorite she certainly didn't sub the rice for extra vegetables needless to say I won't be going back
The Ramen was delicious and filling. We also got the beef and shrimp hibachi. It had chunks of beef instead of strip like most places. The shrimp were nice and big also. Overall the food was delicious. I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu.
Their food is delicious and at a great price. They prepared our food quickly for take out when we stopped in. The ramen was so good. I recommend the fresh noodles and their braised pork belly cuts.The Bobba Tea is also good with loads of flavors I didn't think would be available anywhere in St. Petersburg.We're ordering here for a second time right now.
Tonkotsu, and other delicious ramens. Appetizers and hibachi food, too. Very fresh and nice atmosphere. AND Kung Foo teas. So happy to find the Token Ramen.
