Restaurant gets a lot right along with more menu variety than what you'd expect. Organic grass fed angus burger and fries is a bit surprising for a taco joint, but speaks to their quality.Tacos... many great options including specialties like grouper and impossible. Also allow mix and match which is great. Worth being mindful of different daily specials.Place is an excellent staple for anyone living downtown who can depend on a reasonably priced quick quality bite. Hopefully this venue keeps doing what they're doing!
The Nachos were $16, menu says $6. They had hardley any queso at all on them. Basically.just tortilla.chips and a ton of lettuce for $16....wow! AND I asked for no tomatoes, but it was loaded witj tomatoes. The server working was eating at the bar with customers, that's weird !Gross expensive Nachos. ! I make.better at home! Will not return!
Yum!!! Pretty good! We have no shortage of Mexican food but this is a nice addition to Central Ave, downtown.
Things that give me joy
Simple and delicious. I'd been meaning to try this place for quite some time since I work nearby and now I'm kicking myself for having waited this long. It's great quality and value! Got the quesabirria (on special on Thursdays for only $6). It was filling but not too heavy (just the right amount of food for lunch!). The corn tortillas were clearly homemade and fresh; the au jus was rich and really yummy for dipping, too. I also got chips and made-to-order guac. Chips could be improved but the guac was flavorful and clearly very fresh. For a quick bite to eat that's inexpensive and on the healthier side, I highly recommend Ono. They also have sangria and beer if you need an adult beverage with good drink specials, too.
Great restauraunt. Sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening. Wait staff and management both greeted us and made sure everything was to our liking. Wanted sushi but they were not serving it due to Covid issues of supply. They were upfront with this before we ordered. Still had a wonderful meal. Had been here 1x before and will be back again
It’s your fave local foodie! I heard the lure Ono had some BIRRIA TACOS 3-for-$6? Downtown on central? That’s unheard of! so I had to investigate and see what all the fuss was about they rebranded a couple months ago and turned into a Mexican spot …these tacos were pretty good and pretty loaded w shredded beef ? The tortillas are on the small side but it’s a super great value and the flavor is there!!! Only thing missing was some spicy salsaaaaaa lol but fr fr $6 lunch downtown you really can’t beat it!
Waste of $35, specifically said no beans on everything yet they still managed to put beans on everything. Got home and went to eat my food and noticed it. Didn’t even take one bite just threw it all out. Disappointing

Finally an AUTHENTIC MEXICAN joint on Central, like in NYC side street carts. Gerardo the chef is innovative and authentic in producing flavor, texture and spices. Im hooked! Want spicy? Ask chef to spice it up!
