The best place! So many different types of popsicles and you can’t go wrong. Blackberry goat cheese was fantastic! Looking forward to coming back.
It really doesn't make sense why there would be any novelty to a popsicle let alone an entire shop devoted to it, but when you want to treat your taste buds after making it three blocks down Central on an incredibly humid summer day, you'll be thanked that an incredibly good popsicle is accessible. Yes, its a popsicle shop, but goodness is it a good one.
We had the blueberry cheesecake pop dipped in chocolate and the champagne mango pop. Both were delicious and would recommend either one.
Fantastic and interesting flavors. We got key lime and mango mojito and both were excellent!
Great place to stop for a refeshing treat on a hot Florida afternoon. The popsicles were more like ice cream flavors than what I think of as a popsicle. We went back for a 2nd popsicle for each of us after more sight seeing. Cheesecake flavors, fruit flavors, all delicious.
We’ve been contemplating going here for some time… but today was “the day”!Angie led us to gourmet popsicle heaven, this place is amazing…. We bought 9 popsicles
Lovely place had the horchata popsicle and it was fantastic!
Reminiscent of a similar chain in Spain, Hyppo now provides gourmet dairy and non-dairy popsicles, some even alcoholic, to a hungry audience in St. Petersburg, especially diners like us who just couldn’t find something simple, refreshing, quiet, and modest for dessert. Besides the 20 or 30 different exotic flavors, there was the option of getting each popsicle dipped in dark chocolate for an additional $1. On my first visit, I chose blueberry cheesecake blood orange dipped in chocolate, and it tasted great. Sadly, I picked a wretched mango mojito flavor on my second visit, then wandered downtown to find a normal ice cream joint (Kilwin’s) to get rid of the aftertaste. Nevertheless, it was a really fun place, with a conscientious server, a large wooden table for big groups who wanted to sit down for a few minutes, and no annoying background music to drown out conversation.
From alcoholic popsicles to unique flavors, Hypoo has anything for the partying adult or a family with kiddos. It is quite overwhelming with how many flavors they have but every one was great. I highly recommend this in the warm Florida weather!
Very many flavors to choose from. I got the coconut pistachio dipped in chocolate. Pop was super tasty, chocolate was very waxy. Here's the bad news... they are 4 bucks per pop, without chocolate. The chocolate will run you a buck more. These are very small pops for the price.
