It was Unbelievable!!!! All seafood in the soup was excellent!! Never remove this from the menu! The best my wife /myself ever had including the Keys!!! chioppino is the Best ever!! Thanks so much for making it a memorable night!!
Food was outstanding. Every dish at the table. Service was a little slow at times to get serve attention, but food came out timely. Will definitely go back
This was the fifth time my wife and I dined here, and although the food is excellent, the atmosphere feels very hectic and impersonal. Here are the things that could be improved upon: Hostesses need to greet customers as they approach and not be engaged in their own conversations (work related or not). They are the âfirst impressionâ of the restaurant and how they welcome or do not welcome sets the stage for the entire dining experience. These ladies definitely had an attitude and it was not friendly. The craft cocktails are excellent, however, invest in more glass wear. This is not the first time we have paid $17+ for a drink and have had to wait for a refill due to âlack of glassesâ in the bar. We were finished with our dinner before we received our second drink. Food arrives quickly and is delicious. However, we waited a long while to get our check and boxes to go. All in all, food is wonderful but prices are steep. Restaurant is lively but too hectic to really enjoy yourselves in a relaxed setting which is what you should do when you invest in a dinner there.
First time visiting. It was my birthday meal. The meatball appetizer was delicious with its rich marinara sauce. I had the filet mignon with red wine reduction which was buttery tender! We sat outside which was a health precaution but itâs very noisy along that stretch of Central Ave and itâs buggy this time of year in Florida. Service was very good and cordial.
Taverna Costalaâs cuisine is exceptional and service top notch. Very likely the best Italian restaurant I have been to in North America.
Second time there and will go back again!! It was a Birthday dinner for 4 people. The food was wonderful!!!! Our SERVER was SO SWEET, kind, helpful, and professional! He remembered to bring a Birthday Dessert Without me having to be obvious in reminding him. Salmon was crispy on the outside, perfect on inside, Octopus and Mussel appetizers were delish! Brussels Sprouts rocked!!!! FILET Mignonette was perfect!!!Sea Salt Cheesecake Dessert was INSANE!!!!!!

The atmosphere was outstanding but unfortunately, they sat us in a small private room near the bathroom with a large birthday party (we were a party of 6), so did not get to enjoy the vibe. The indoor/outdoor bar looked very cool and a great location. Food was good for the most part. Service was very slow. It took them 35 min to get our first round of drinks to us

We were celebrating a birthday. We were greeted at the hostess station with smiling faces and seated promptly. Reservation was at 6 as we are early eaters. Nikko, our server, was fabulous!! Explaining the menu, creating a mocktail for me, and checking on us throughout the evening, was wonderful. Water glass never emptied. Food was tremendous. Love the meatball appetizers, recommended by Nikko. I had the swordfish which was delicious. Awesome dessert, caramel cheesecake topped off the evening! I would highly recommend Taverna Costale!
