I used to love this place and would come every week. I cannot for the life of me figure out why management decided to change the menu and the restaurant model. The menu has been reworked. Our favorite bowls we would order every week were taken off the menu. The food quality seemed to be lower than before. Certain ingredients (like pickled jalapenos and jalapeno sour cream) were completely gone. You used to stand there and watch the staff make bowls and you'd bit-by-bit customize your bowl. Now this is all done behind a wall.Disappointing changes. Bring back the old Taco Dirty!
We used to love this place and would eat here every week. Unfortunately they have made a lot of changes to their menu taken some of the best things away (Brussels sprouts, pickled jalapeños, our favorite sauces, and more) and it is no longer as enjoyable. They have also made it so that you can no longer order at the line you can only order at a touch screen iPad and they shoved a bunch of furniture in front of where the main line and covered the glass up so you can no longer see them making your food.
We use two love this place. But they went and had to change to the menu. And got rid of alot of the items. especially the brussel sprouts. And changed the walk up and fog the window. Guessing to hide all the empty spots from the missing food (brussel sprouts). Will not be returning untill the food is back. BRUSSEL SRROUTS, BRUSSEL SPROUTS!!!!
Nice little taco spot. They have a diverse menu with tacos, burritos and bowls. The food was fresh and had good flavors.
Had my first taco bowl here today, and I was very impressed by the options on the menu for gluten/dairy sensitive people. SO glad there was a dairy-free queso option because that’s something I’ve missed desperately on my journey to avoid everything dairy. The only disappointing part of my order was the strawberry margarita I ordered. It was downright terrible and very weak. Will definitely avoid the alcohol here from now on, but I’d eat here again!
Decent but nothing to write home about. Overpriced especially when there are far better tacos all around St. Pete. Casita Taqueria will remain our go-to
Great flavored bowls or tacos. Lots of good choices to vary it up. Tacos are 2 bucks a piece on Tuesday’s and Sundays.
Excellent choices for any dietary concerns. Catered a luncheon at work and had to bring my husband to try the bowls! Definitely recommend.
Cute little place, attached to another restaurant. Great vegan options and even queso! Would be a nice place for a little date.
My wife and I visited early on a Monday when there were very few other customers around. We found the food hall confusing with three different operations and the menu even more confusing. The staff were not very helpful or friendly, probably because we are seniors, or maybe they are like that to everyone. This is a self-service operation where you order at the counter, watch them prepare your food, and then pay for it before you go get your drinks or sit down. When they present the bill, you are given a choice of adding no tip or a tip starting at 18% ( nothing in between). It was meatless Monday and there is supposed to be 20% off on the vegetarian bowls that my wife and I ordered, so I decided to be generous and add an 18% tip even though we basically received zero service. The hall was uninviting and noisy, so we closed up our food and took it home to eat. When we got home and examined the bill ( the food was not cheap for self-service) I discovered that we did not get the advertised 20% discounted. I suppose that we seniors are supposed to be stupid and not check the bill. Frankly, it was not worth getting the car out and returning to challenge them on the bill. The food was passable , but not great so we will not be returning to be clipped again. Others reading, especially seniors, should take notice.
