The food, drinks, environment and patrons are spectacular. Nothing else needs to be said.
Delicious as always! I had New England clam chowder $6 and a hot roast beef sandwich $11 and a couple of $6 beers.Sat in the breezy hallway.I did think the sandwich should have come with a small pasta salad or something.
I eat at this place often. Service is wonderful, love the people. The food is always fresh. They go out of their way to accommodate.
This place had such a great vibe to it. The food was amazing, as was our server, Tabitha!
At a cafe that knows its sandwiches, we asked the owner where she likes to grab lunch besides her own place and were directed to this unassuming spot where generous portions, quality ingredients, reasonable prices and fast service draw crowds. We particularly appreciated the ample layer of extra-crispy bacon in our club sandwiches. I subtracted a star for the bread, which is a little too soft for such wonderfully juicy sandwiches. Be warned: the sign is hard to read from the road, although it doesn’t seem to hurt Stone Soup. If you love the place, you already know it’s there.
An incredible little find! A fun mix of exciting home cooked dishes, along with a full bar and great beer selection. I got the Sunday brunch special ham and cheese quiche with a bowl of their Italian wedding soup, both were wonderful! I paired it with a tasty bloody Mary and then washed it all down with a 16oz Fat Tire amber beer! I couldn't then turn down their homemade Rice Krispie treat for dessert - just as good as you make at home, not like the sugary one you buy at the store... Our server was great, and everyone (other diners and staff) was friendly - a great local dining spot I'm glad to have discovered!
Good menu, great service, fair price, huge portion.Fresh salad, enough for two, with a few mini muffins. Cinnamon are a bit tastier than banana.Service was prompt, friendly, and order was accurate.Outside dining, a plus with Covid.Recommended.
I had the ruben sandwich with a side of pasta salad which was good but portions are skimpy. Great selection of beers. They have a small full bar and drink specials. Home made desserts were okay. Beautiful polished wood and stained glass indoor seating.
Very brief. Girls night. We just sat down, it's our 1st time here. Waiter comes over to take our drink order seems to be in a rush...mind you, it wasn't packed at all. Straight up walked away mid conversation when asked about the liquor options (assuming the order). We let it go because it's not a big deal. He comes back to get our food order but at the end we decided to add a dessert to come out first after giving him our entree..he then seemed frustrated and had no problem telling us so as he proceeded to say "This is why I didn't want to take this table" and walks away. We were so disgusted he ruined our girls dinner night out by his whole abrasive and rude attitude from the start we cancelled the order and left. Won't be back, horrible hospitality!
Amazing food and such a nice environment definitely my go to when I’m in st Pete!
