We loved the vibe and great energy here. When you walk in you are transported to a magical place of deliciousness and wonderful libations! The food was delicious including salmon eggs Benedict and pork belly hash with eggs. Great contrasting yet complimentary flavors. Definitely one of our top restaurants in St Pete recently. We will return soon to explore the menu again! Bravo Social Roost!
I had an awesome brunch at Social Roost thanks to our bartender Victor! Our time spent sipping on special cocktails and eating our yummy brunch was a lot of fun. We opted to come here despite it being fully booked. Once we arrived we were seated at the bar, which let me tell you was not a let down at all. I’m not exactly sure why we were told it was fully booked because the whole time there, even after leaving seats were available. But not a big deal because I enjoyed sitting and chatting with Victor the whole time. He’s really a gem that made the dining experience 100x better. Our drinks were fabulous and the food was really delicious. The decor is really cool and instagram worthy. I love the furry (cow hind) wall behind the bar. Gave me “Get Him to the Greek” vibes. The glitter walls and ceiling were really neat too. Really cool space and good food and drinks. Will definitely be back to eat and hang out with Victor for sure!
Our waitress and bartender, Alex and Reese were phenomenal. Well versed in the menu and gave great recommendations. Reese is the COOLEST bartender, she made off menu custom drinks for us, and she also sings? the food was amazing! The atmosphere is the perfect mix of casual and elegant, with the staff making you feel like a regular even if you’re not. You cannot go wrong with anything you get and we cannot recommend this place enough! We will be back tomorrow for lunch to try some more menu options!!
Chicken is great. Shrimp and grits to die for ! Servers are awesome and TRUE craft cocktail bartenders. Just go. Really great vibe and music !
Fabulous fresh food. Alex our wait person could not have been any better. Ate shrimp & grits & portobello sandwich with salad. You MUST try the salad with Yellow carrot strips. Those carrots are amazing. 5* for this restaurant!
This place was an absolute gem and it was right in the heart of St. Petersburg downtown. We came right at about 1:45 p.m. and we're seated right away. Our party consisted of about eight people. The wait staff was courteous and the atmosphere was pleasant with modern music from all genres. Food presentation was top notch and prices for the amount of portion size you got was absolutely fabulous. Most meals can be split between two people easily, so there's no need to order completely separate things if you want to save money. All the drinks were excellent and unique. The bartender put on a show while making every single drink and also had a great personality. The food came out in a reasonable time and all was fresh and hot.I would definitely recommend visiting here whenever you are downtown because the price and atmosphere are great and you can't beat the amazing service.
What a delicious and wonderful dinner and drinks. Savannah was our fantastic server. Will be going again.
It's not up to the hype and not what we expected. We had 4 diners all with different meals and appetizers. 2 felt it was very good and 2 felt it was fair. Service was very good and outdoor seating was a plus. It just wasn't the ""next coming" of fine dining in St Pete's!
This place looks really nice. The decor and ambience are visually striking. They have a nice drink list with some interesting cocktails made from crafted ingredients. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. This was not completely the fault of our server. I think there were not enough servers to handle the number of guests present on a Saturday at 1. Our server doubled as a bartender and was only visiting one table at a time on each of her trips out from behind the bar. It was chaotic. I got one drink the entire time we were there and I had to hunt down our own silverware and napkin. I wanted to try one or two more drinks but wasn't given the opportunity to buy them. My food - a breakfast bowl- came out on the cool side. My wife's frittata was piping hot though, as one would hope. The food had really nice flavor, as did the two drinks we had. So, there is potential here, but it just didn't happen on our visit. I write this review mostly for management's benefit - I think you are leaving money in guests pockets instead of on the table. We would have bought 2-4 more drinks as we were just walking around that day. I think on a slower day or at a slower time Social Roost is probably just fine. If it is busy though, watch out.
Delicious brunch and an amazing espresso martini. Great atmosphere and service.
