I tried this place last week and there was no flavor what so ever. Being the person that I am I decided to give them another try with a completely different dish and this worse than the first dish it was unedible no flavor and the vegetables were overcooked. The only thing worth eating was their spring rolls. For their prices they must do better.
You walk in and immediately feel an old-school Thai vibe here. Just classic. Loved it! And the food, served by polite and charming staff, makes this a winner all the way around! Started with the Fresh Rolls, which were indeed fresh & yummy. Entrees arrived quickly soon after with very nice portions as well.The Pad Thai is perfection, with noticeably fresh protein and veggies. A nice tasty mix of savory, sweet, salty…very well balanced. The Bai Ka Pao, ordered with seafood, was spicy delicious. This is the front runner for Thai food in St. Pete!

My family and I went and ate here yesterday. After our favorite Thai place shut down for good during COVID we haven't been able to find a place that's up to our standards. But after eating here this is for sue our current place to go!!! The appetizer sampler was great and the Panang Curry was to die for! We also shared the Pad Thai which was great as well. We will definitely be back regularly.
Super delicious duck noodle soup! The veggie spring rolls, crab rangoon, and fried shrimp are really yummy, too. I took off a star because the fried squid was extremely dry and the Thai tea was way too bitter for me to drink. Very good portions of everything, the picture of the soup is just a little bowl of it I poured for myself at home that was like 1/4 of the portion.
Oh my gosh! This place gets all my stars. What great food, atmosphere, and service. This is not a chain restaurant and I will not forget the dining experience I had here. We had crab rangoon and it was hand-made and not the processed stuff you get at P.F.Chang's. We also had Sate, this is pork screws that came to the table fully cooked, but you got to sear them on a tiny grill over a fire and it was served with a peanut sauce. Then for the meal I had Spicy Beef Pad Sam Rot. They brought additional hot sauces to the table and they were great for adding heat to an already fully flavored dish. We really enjoyed ourselves. Best veggie Panang that we ever had. The tofu pad Thai was really good with Thai tea. The customer service is really nice too. June the server still remembered us from 7 months ago. We came for my wife’s birthday and it was very satisfying.
The crazy meat curry was awesome, I got the mild and will definitely up the heat a little next time. I will be going again, one of the best thai places around. I didn't give 5 stars because their thai tea was not good, the first sip was extremely disappointing, maybe they accidentally made it vegan but I don't think I will risk getting it again.
The food was delicious and authentic, and they also give you a decent sized portion. Only thing I’d say is that the entrance was a mess and looked like a storage closet with boxes everywhere, which was not appealing. The host stand also serves as the togo counter so we had to wait 10min for all the togo orders in front of us before we were greeted for a table. Maybe it was just a busy night and it was our first time, so not sure if it’s like this always. Despite that, I would still recommend because the food was great!
This is my go to spot for Prid King. I always get it hot. This is the lunch size portion for $8. Very authentic.
