We are so fortunate to find this place. A small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! We ate there 4 days on the row :) The best fried shrimp we've ever had. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Plus it’s all at an affordable price.Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again.
Delicious food. By far the best french fries I’ve tried so far. The staff is so polite. They have awesome deals if you want to come with your friends.
If you're looking for something that will HIT THE SPOT Sam's is the place to check out! This was one of the first places I went to eat when moving to the area after seeing the gyro sign (I can never pass on a gyro) and I must say it did not disappoint! I got mine customized a bit... did a gyro but in a bowl with rice and beans added "boom boom" sauce and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! All of the prices are very reasonable, they have weekly specials AND LUNCH COMBOS AVAILABLE ALL DAY!I have also tried the seafood and the grilled shrimp and basa fish (combo #12) was absolutely mouthwatering. Seafood was prepared well nothing was chewy fish was nice and flakey!I was also feeling kind of snacky... They have lots of desert to pick from (cakes, cookies & pie) but I HIGHLY suggest the Oreo cake!!! It's my favorite!!
The girl who answered the phone was acting slow af. She sounded like she had an attitude but I was like maybe it’s just hot outside. Until I’m telling her what I do and don’t want on my food and she’s going mute. I’m like did you hear me she doesn’t say anything. I ask again she’s like is that all idk the attitude was just off the meter so I hung up. Idk what sis was mad about but I hope your day gets better. I ordered from gyro city instead
While looking for a simple and balanced dish, found this genuine hidden gem. Tried several seafood dishes that surprisingly prepared from scratch (oysters, shrimp, tilapia). Had also a plain gyro (should ask for seafood as topping if just would know!) and a Greek salad. An organized kitchen and appealing dishes won’t make the cut if the personalized service wouldn’t be actively present on a seemly well known spot that runs the whole day. Definitely worth the drive there!
This place is absolutely amazing. Best bang for your bucks. We come every year we visit at Pete and Gulfport. So many great options on their menu and they are so kind and friendly to talk to.
First off I wanna thank the owner and workers who were working for amazing customer service I'm from ft mys and took a trip to Tampa but didn't make it due to car issues we went into sam's and got some amazing food the bowl was amazing the shrimp was seasoned so good and the wings were on point the owner made sure we were good and we asked if we can stay inside for some hrs instead of the head since I had my 3 kids and they said yes with no hesitation we waited inside for literally 8 hrs and had an amazing stay thank you so much for no letting me and my family wait in the hot sun
I live in Gulfport and had never tried this place. I had a taste for a gyro and decided to try their food. I ordered on line and picked up my food. My gyro was great and the French fries were so good. I couldn’t believe it. Everything was hot and perfectly done. I had extra tziki sauce which was thick and delicious. I referred my mother there and she also loved it. Try this place. It is well worth it! Also the prices were good. I’m looking forward to trying other items on the menu
First visit, and I have to say the fried shrimp is absolutely the best I've had. The Gyros are packed with meat, and very filling but nothing different from any other Gyro- I would skip on the fries next time, nothing special. Maybe we will opt for the cajun fries instead. Looking forward to trying the rice bowl next time. We will stick to the seafood options- everything looked yummy.
First time visiting here—without question, the best Gyro I’ve had in years. Absolutely outstanding. Sam, the owner, was very friendly and so was his staff. Clam strips were incredible as well. Everything—Top Drawer!
