So I came from yard of ale, met Christal , if you want the proper bartender experience, you talk with her. She makes the best drinks, she makes amazing drinks and truly knows her stuff. In the last 15 years I have yet to meet a bartender in FL as knowledgeable as Christal. She truly is worth coming to see in St Pete if you are visiting and expecting a high end experience.

Awesome cocktail bar for meticulously hand crafted drinks. Drinks are more expensive but this is due to the quality of the drink. The staff are as friendly as it gets! Comfortable and ample seating. The views from the balcony are amazing. Great vibes all around. Here's the downer. The bar is above 260 First night club. Getting through the bouncers can be a headache depending on the day. 3 out of 4 times, my husband has been asked to pay a cover to get into the club even when we've specifically told the bouncers that we're going to Proof Cocktail, not 260 First. We have to argue our way through the bouncers to get to the ladies behind the front desk who collect the cover charge. We tell them the speakeasy password and sometimes they still want a cover. I've spoken with the bartenders at Proof. You don't need a cover to get in so put your foot down when you're speaking with the staff at 260 First, give them the speak easy password and be on your way. Also, look on their social media pages for the speak easy password of the night!
Amazing drinks. Meticulously hand crafted in front if you. Not a spot for a quick drink and a sports game.
