I never write bad reviews but I have to do it this time because I couldn't believe how rude the staff were. Here is for the owner to read and hope this can help with staff training. I was there on Sunday 4/3/22 around 6pm and wanted to order a cold brew. There were 2 workers (1 boy and 1 girl), they were just standing there talking to each other, no greetings nothing. There was also another customer in there waiting to be served ice cream. I stood at the counter for a minute and they still ignored me. I finally said something and then the boy came, he looked so annoyed and asked me "What's up?" with his chin up like he was mad at me. I asked for a cold brew, but he walked away and told the girl to come help me. The girl SLOWLY came, she was eating ice cream with the sample spoon still in her mouth. She looked at me like I was bothering her and asked "what do you want?".. I was shocked, is this how you serve your customers??? At that moment, I just wanted to leave without ordering anything. They both looked young but the shop has to be better at customer service. No customers should be treated this way!
Had an enjoyable time eating ice cream here. The wide variety of flavors was a challenge but they gave me samples which narrowed down my selection. We enjoyed our ice cream on the sidewalk seating. A street performer was next door and entertained the people passing by.
It was a hot afternoon in St. Pete yesterday with pleasant weather by the bay and I craved for icecream. Found this gelato place and I was craving for a spumoni or a fruity flavor. They didn't have either of these flavors and the server recommended her favorite, the Amarena cherry gelato. I asked for a taste. She gladly obliged and I told her it is my new favorite too. She went back and added a few cherries on the top and it looked and tasted scrumptious. We enjoyed the icecream looking at the banyan trees across the street and the few glimpses of the Bombax tree currently blooming by the museum.
Gelato was ok - however, the server reacted very rudely, when a simple cup of water was requested to go with the three cups of gelato being purchased - Disappointing experience . . .
Great place to get some gelato. The gelato is 70% less fat than regular ice cream, and they have a few dairy/fat-free sorbet options. I love the variety of flavors. I personally feel like the cone was a bit sugar-y, so I'd put my gelato/sorbet in a cup next time. They also had some great hot chocolate and coffee options, as well as some baked goods. They sell little cups of different toppings if you want to take them with you, which I haven't seen before. Definitely would come here again!
The gelato was good, but not the best. I’m a bit of a gelato snob, and this just didn’t appear or taste authentic to me. The gelato was well above the containers which is a dead giveaway that it’s not authentic (has too much air and emulsifiers). The flavors were good, but again didn’t taste 100% authentic to me. The sizing was also odd. My brother and his girlfriend ordered small, I ordered regolare and we all received the same size. I would probably go again if a group was going and because the location is perfect to walk around downtown, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go. If you’ve never been to Italy or had authentic gelato before, I think you’d enjoy it.
Whenever we’re on Beach Drive whether for dinner or shopping, we always have to stop and get a Gelato from Paciugo’s. Great, creamy flavors!
Creamy and packed with quality ingredients gelato! Loved their Mango Passion and berry gelato. One of my favorite gelato shop. Staff are super kind!
This place was amazing! I came here because I read that they have vegan / dairy free options, but boy was that am understatement! They had 3 fruit flavors and 5 regular ice cream type flavors to choose from! It was so hard to choose! My favorite was definitely the chocolate, but the mint and cookies and cream were tied for second. The staff was super friendly and let me try as many flavors as I wanted and then told me I could choose 4 flavors in the medium! The guy at checkout even gave me a sample of his favorite vegan flavor even though I already paid since I hadn't tried that one. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for vegan or nondairy ice cream! I will definitely be back next time I'm in St Pete.
I only got the coffee, ordered 2 caramel macchiatos and they were exceptionally good.
