We found Mio's while attending a conference in St. Pete. Absolutely LOVED Mio's! The little restaurant has such heart. We felt welcome, safe, and relaxed here. Bora was wonderful. He patiently explained items on the menu and didn't seem preoccupied or frustrated when we struggled to decide. He was accommodating and kept a smile. You can tell he takes pride in his restaurant, food and customers. Our party ordered an array of offerings, even desserts. We were all able to find something that met our dietary needs. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Turkish tea was refreshing and hit the spot. You can't go wrong with any choice on the menu. If I find myself in St. Petersburg again, this will be my first lunch or dinner choice! We only wished we had Mio's Grill on the east side of FL!!
Enjoyed a lovely dinner with great flavors. Definitely would recommend the Kisir (Turkish Style Tabouli), Carrot Meze & Babaganouj for the “pick 4” cold appetizer sampler. Everything we tried was delightful in its taste. The waitress was friendly & attentive as well as the owner & chef, Bora, took time to ask us about our meal. Look forward to returning.
This is a unique little boutiq place in downtown St Pete that offers combination of Greek and Turkish cuisines. I had an appetizer sampler and also the Gyro kebab which was their special. Also the owner named this eatery after his dog Mio which is very sweet
Great food with reasonable prices. Very friendly service. We definitely be back and try more mediterranean dishes.
Cozy ambiance to enjoy succulent dishes. Excellent falafel and Gyro dishes. All five of us immensely enjoyed everything including every drop of tzatziki...
Great Turkish restaurant. Flavors are amazing in each and every dish. Cosy ambience with a variety of Turkish wines to savor. Appetizers are a must and entrees are savory with great quality ingredients. Best Turkish restaurant in the Tampa Bay Area.Staff are knowledgable and attentive. Very friendly.
Always fresh and always delicious! They have a great homemade lentil soup, the best falafel I’ve ever had, and the hummus never disappoints. One of our favorites in St Pete!
Absolutely loved this place! Small, intimate hole in the wall that you can walk and not notice. Big mistake if u miss it. We had the cold mezze sampler and it was superb. Best babaghanoush, hummus and bulgur salad! And amazing gyro Greek salad. Don’t miss the baklava too. Our new go-to place in st Pete’s.
Staff is really friendly. Pleasant atmosphere. Food is super good. Loved the Turkish soda drink. It wasn’t super sweet like regular American soda. 100% recommend this place.
Service was delightful and food was fresh and amazing. I’ve been craving red lentil soup for a week and here it is. Vega, home made and delicious. Had some hot appetizers, also. Everything was fantastic.
