Delicious. Hot. Fresh. Ordered The Farmer sandwich. This was a buttery soft, biscuit, with a peppery seasoned fried chicken breast, pecanwood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and their apple butter. It was a great mix of salty and sweet. The biscuit was so soft that it was crumbly, but luckily stuck to the chicken pretty wellZ the apple butter was good, but also there was so much of it that it was spilling all on the plate with every bite. Glad I ordered it to stay and not take out. Great flavors though and would go back!
The menu at Maple St. Biscuit Co. was a bit underwhelming at first glance. But this is yet another prime example of 'simple' executed well.Waiting in line to order you can see a the team making, cutting and baking off hundreds of biscuits. If you get here early your order will include freshly made biscuits. The menu isn't terribly vast but everything that I had was fresh, hot, and tasted great. The Squawking Goat was perfectly balanced and just the right amount of food. I also got Fried Green Tomatoes on the side - well seasoned, crisp, and piping hot. What really impressed me was the size of the team and how well they were trained. As someone who worked in the industry for 14 years, calling out orders, shouting "behind," "3 All Day," "heard" are the hallmark signs of a well oiled machine. Our group of 4 didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for our order on a Sunday morning.I'll be returning next time I'm in the St. Pete area.
The food is alright. I got “the farmer” which was chicken bacon cheddar biscuit with apple butter sauce. It was okay, the chicken was rubbery. I also got the Cajun potatoes side which had no Cajun seasoning. My wife got the biscuits and gravy, the gravy was good but the biscuits were doughy and not fully cooked. She also got the fried green tomatoes and they were cut so thick and not fully fried. They also entirely forgot to make our order and after 20 minutes and seeing 3 people behind us get our food I asked them when ours would be ready they said they didn’t make it and would start now. No apology or anything… pretty poor service.
This was my first time ordering from the Maple Street Biscuit Co for my daughter after bragging about how great their breakfast is. She ordered The Farmer and they did not disappoint. Although I do not eat meat anymore, this biscuit made me want a bite. The location was nice and not too busy and the food quality was great.
I GO SPECIFICALLY FOR THE GREEN TOMATOES...SO YUMMY ? AND GREAT PRICE. THEY ALSO SELL COFFEE. HERE I HAVE A CARAMEL ICE COFFEE WITH AN ESPRESSO SHOT. ESPRESSO WILL DEFINITELY WAKE YOU UP.
Tasty biscuits. The veggie gravy made with Shitake mushrooms is tasty & has a kick to it. Reasonable prices. The veggie risky is about $7. Coffee is unique tasty. The maple in the vanilla latte is very present so it gives it a unique taste. They also offer huge cups of water, so you don't have to keep getting up. This place is a order and seat yourself restaurant. They don't serve at the table. The fun thing about it is they ask for a fictional character so they yell out that name instead of personal names. Overall, great experience & tasty biscuits.
Great food! Fun atmosphere! Loved hearing the favorite fictional characters called out to signify order was done! Closest I have tasted to my pepper jelly and my gravy in a restaurant!
I ordered The Farmer and Caramel Toffee Crunch Latte. When we first entered we were told that the wait would be 40 minutes and we agreed by ordering our biscuits and drinks. Ten minutes later, our meals were completed….but it terms of fresh, it did not taste done. The chicken was not warm, the cheese wasn’t melted and in my opinion, the apple butter sauce should be warmed and not placed cold onto what I would expect to be a hot plate. Given that we were willing to wait, I had wished they took the time to fully prepare our meals. There were also no forks available because they were all overflowing out of the dirty dish bin, which was passed multiple times by several employees. A let down for my Saturday brunch and not looking to go back to this location.

Best biscuits ever. We loved the bacon, too. There was a lively and friendly spirit to the place. I appreciated seeing the Rainbow and Trans flags on the wall.
