This place was so cool! Very posh decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing.
Steven was incredible! Went for an engagement dinner and had a blast. The food was great and not very expensive. The drinks were good too. Steven knew exactly what to recommend and everyone left talking about how cool this place was. Will be coming back soon!
Tampa Restaurant Week - Luna LuxPrix Fixe Menu $40 per person.Located inside the Hilton Hotel across the lobby from the front desk is Luna Lux. There was no one to meet or greet at either door so after wandering around briefly I just picked a table and sat. Service was cordial, the space was very open with doors out to a patio and a lot of natural lighting.1st course was Grilled Octopus, nicely cooked, well flavored with a touch of heat from Aji Amarillo. A good start to the dinner line up.Next was the Roast Duck w/ Couscous and Rapini. The duck was succulent and delicious, the couscous paired very nicely as did the charred rapini.Last was the Limoncello Tiramisu, an tasty and interesting take on the traditional dessert. The lemon flavor bright and refreshing.A very nice dinner without any flaws, both filling and satisfying.
I was very clear to the server that I have a gluten and soy allergy. I was told the items I ordered were gluten and soy free. The restaurant notes gluten free items on their menu so I expected they had a decent level of allergen awareness. After two bites of the roast duck I detected soy sauce and asked the server to reconfirm there was no soy in my dish. After several minutes she came back with the manager and they were both very apologetic when they told me the dish was made with soy sauce. They said the chef who was on duty was not the chef who prepared the item and he didn't know there was soy sauce used. To the staff's credit they were very apologetic, they didn't charge for my (uneaten) meal or my husband's meal, BUT I am going to be sick for the next several days. I carry an epi pen in case my reaction becomes extreme. I don't ever knowingly put myself in a position of being exposed to soy or gluten. I don't expect my diet to be accommodated but I do expect the restaurant to be able to accurately tell me what's in their dishes so if I can't be accommodated I can refrain from eating.
My fiancé and I went here for the restaurant week specials. It’s a great spot in the Hilton and had some great specials that were not on the regular menu (although they should definitely add them!!). The environment is really nice and it was quiet in there on the weekend. The server was attentive and helpful. The food came out quickly and was good portions for the restaurant week special. Everything we had was really yummy. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Mother's day brunch was a disaster. Food took over an hour to come out and had to correct several orders. Had special menu for mother's day brunch and even that took forever. When the food came out it was obvious that some had been microwave reheated. I didn't get the impression that this was a fully functioning restaurant. My sister in law suggested it and I won't be taking her suggestions any more ??. The only positive was the location. Beautiful lake in the back of the hotel if you want to take a picture or three.
Poor menu options
Great food, had breakfast and it was the best omelet.
Beautiful and relaxing place but unfortunately food was horrible frozen salmon, bad and old steaks, salad was good ?? .
