My favorite sandwich spot has been ruined by the new owner. He's rude although the food is good it's no longer worth driving from Seminole to St Pete to deal with him. Dude you are gonna have a heart attack take a Valium and sit down. I will not spend a penny more at your location. I can drive to another location with less stress. I have been going to Lonnie's for over 20 years. No more! I'm ok with you messing up & order and fixing it but the huffing & puffing, red face narcissist reaction is ridiculous.
The rice bread is the best bread you will ever have! It is a unique recipe and can’t be beaten. I eat here all the time and the owner Phil and the staff go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. It has to be the best lunch spot in St. Pete!
Food was Great ! We had a Cuban and Ruebin. Southern Chicken salad and Chicken grape salad. All was great. But the service was lame. No welcome , just took our order. Then the owner called my name and gave me my bag and didn't say a word. Not even a Thankyou.
We love supporting a local business! Philip helped me with a catering order and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. And the food is delicious- this is our favorite local spot to order sandwiches! Do yourself a favor and try the famous Sunny Bird Sandwich.
Absolutely amazing food, definitely looking forward to coming back.We had the nutty chicken salad on potato bread and the barbacuban, couldn't recommend highly enough. They are filling without feeling gross, and incredibly delicious.
We had a rep bring us lunch from here and OMG. It was amazing! I tried the turkey and the ham sandwiches! Both were so so good! Im definitely ordering food here whenever im in the mood for a sandwich

We went here for a quick sandwich for lunch shortly after arriving in St. Pete's and this was a great little sandwich shop. The menu had a lot of different options. The service was quick and the sandwiches we got were delicious. The owner of the shop stopped to chat with us and offered us some advice on what to do while here on vacation too. This is a great spot, check it out!
