It took our server about 10 minutes to come to our table. My wife wasnât ready to order, so our server came back about 20 minutes later. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich. They came out cold 40 minutes later. It seemed they were understaffed, perhaps. We complained a bit and a manager came by and apologizedâ she was very nice and took off 30% from our bill. The food was okay. Fries and house salad were yummy but veggie burger and chicken sandwich were cold and the buns were very stale. The sandwiches are around $15 a piece. The upper patio has a nice view of a beer garden setup below with nice lights and live music. They have huge fans too to keep everyone cool. They have private karaoke rooms and it seemed like people in them were having a blast. So, maybe itâs better to come here for drinks and karaoke than dinner.
Amazing time! Drinks as well as food and service were all great!
We have ordered our food (for 3 people) at 7pm, one of us got her salad in 15 min, the rest of the food came at 9pm. The waiters were super nice to handle this situation cause it was the kitchen i assume who screwed things, at the end we were very unhappy and dissatisfied. They offered to pay the drinks but for me it is not enough to take a risk to go there again. i live here and quality makes difference for me. I dont recommend this place for having a dinner.
LaLa was quiet on the Wednesday evening as we ventured in for dinner. We both started with the delicious Empress Collins made a bit less sweet by our wonderful bartender Ryan. Because I am allergic to mango, the Mango-Jalapeno- Tamari sauce came on the side of the delicious Tuna Crudo. Hubby loved the sauce with the tuna and I just loved the tuna and avocado. The Summer Ratatouille was delightfully beautiful and tasty with the mildly spice sauce. We split a Truffle Aioli Burger and would order it rare next time instead of medium rare. For dessert we shared an enjoyable cheese board with a glass of pinot noir. We will definitely go back again.
Service was great
First time here and it was such a cute location and spot, we loved the upstairs sitting and enjoyed that we sat right in front of a fan they had as to it being super hot outdoor that evening. The food we ordered was not hot but the flavor was good. Our drinks was flavorful the spicy and the regular watermelon margarita. The experience was a little different to what we were expecting but we do want to visit for brunch.
This was a great surprise upon entering the restaurant. It is a very well designed space. It wasn't noisy but that was due to just the right amount of people to keep the conversation down to a nice noise level. I can't wait to go back.
Great ambiance although be careful on roof; the sun takes a while to set and hits the whole rooftop area. Food was great, service was fantastic. The live music created a nice atmosphere but seemed extra loud. Maybe it was the position of the courtyard but really hard to carry on a dinner conversation. Overall fantastic place to try.
A different take on "French", some items inventive, some so,so. Very loud, the Karaoke crowd waits at the bar. Parking is non-existent, on the street, no valet.
Waiter Cliff was very very good. Owner was professional and caring. Food was really really packed with freshness and taste. Unique menu that serves up non ordinary delights for your palette. Full of hip!
