I love the food at La V. My only issue with them is that sometimes I need to order through Uber and they always manage to get the order wrong. This time there were three things wrong in a five item order. It’s like they really don’t want you ordering from Uber

Great menu with lots of options and so many choices. I had short ribs with some really fresh kimchi. The Mrs. had vermicelli with shrimp. Would come here again in a heart beat.

The fried spring rolls were very small but good taste. The fresh spring rolls were tasty with the served peanut sauce. The pho was really homemade and good.

The place was jammed packed and they literally took amazing care of us. They're really great at modifications for your dishes and detailed on the vegan portions! Liz and everyone was fantastic.

Short ribs were different but tasty.

We thought we would try La V, as we are fans if Thai. It is a pretty environment and our server was a young man, attentive. It was no fault of the restaurant that there was a group of men that were extremely loud and probably over-served that hurt any positive ambiance. The fresh Spring roll was good. We both ordered curry and I asked for lots of vegetables that are usually included with curry. However, it only had some chunks of dark chicken and many larger pieces of potatoes cut up in the sauce. Instead of mixed veggies, there was only a couple of dry slices of carrots and 2 tiny pieces of broccoli on a separate plate with the rice. The curry was tasteless and no coconut flavor as hoped. I didn't eat any more than a few bites. Perhaps this "fusion" meant something different - so we will leave it to those that know & enjoy it. But we won't return. ?

Great outside space con a sunny day. Food was ok not the tastiest, but good spot. Clean and nice space and staff.

Bún Cha Hà Noi This traditional Vietnamese dish was recently featured on an episode of "Parts Unknown" w/ Anthony Bourdain. In this episode, he and President Obama eat this delicious dish that consisted of pork belly & pork patty, served in a broth dipping sauce along w/ vermicelli noodles & fresh herbs.

Let’s start when we first walked in, the front desk person told us to sit wherever there’s a menu. Not even saying hello or anything. We picked a seat and sat down. We ordered Vietnamese ice coffee and for appetizers, we ordered spring rolls and Vietnamese crepe (Banh Xeo). You can’t mess up on the spring rolls (goi cuon), but the crepe was overly fried and done. However, for the Vietnamese coffee, I understand Its a “Vietnamese Fusion” but they mix the Trung Nguyen coffee with Milk Tea which is super watered down and didn’t taste right. For entree, I ordered short rib rice and Banh mi. Banh mi was alright, they added too much soy sauce which made it taste too salty, usually that is left at the side. The rice and rib was alright, but Nuoc Mam was sweet and marinated vegetable was weird. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you want to eat more on the Vietnamese traditional food side. I understand it’s modern, but at least have a little tradition and better service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Sensation Iron Pot. It came with bean curd, tofu, vegetables. Unique and tasty, not sure Ive had anything like it before.Service couldve been better if theyd asked me how my meal was or checked up on me at all.
