Excellent service from several people on my first visit. People are friendly and attentive. Seafood super fresh and delivered from a long drive away. Prices arent gouged and tastes good.Met the staff and had great service.
Great selection of seafood we got crabs they were excellent and we also got crawfish, and they helped me clean them and told me how to cook them and everybody loved them! Definitely going back there
The crabs are gross and seasoned after the boil. I thought only white folks seasoned them like that. Jokes on me i guess lol. They didnt use fresh crabs for crab trays either, they used frozen ones.
The employees were very nice and we purchased over 2 dozen jumbo crabs plus 2 lb of mussels. Well, first off, they were large but not what we considered jumbo. Some were smaller and 3 were dead. Out of 2 dozen black mussels, only 6 were able to be cooked. The rest either had cracked shells, open and didn't close or closed when cooked and didn't open. We were a bit surprised since they had a 4+ rating.
place is an absolute disaster. I will never step foot in this place again

It’s really hard to describe this gem of an establishment. I drive 45min one way to enjoy great seafood and after living in the Tampa Bar area all my life, this is one restaurant I’m glad I found. The gentleman who run this place, really take pride in their craft and it shows! The cherry on top is the deep fried Oreo Cookies! These are a MUST try!
JB’s is not a fish market. It is a SHELLFISH market. If you want crabs, get there in the morning because they sell out. If you want FRESH FISH go down the street to 1449 49th Street, Keywest Seafood Company.
When I walked in the establishment mask are required to enter. If you don’t have a mask one can be provided for you by the server. It was very clean and smelled amazing to be a fish market. The server helped me out with some blue crabs. They had small for $45 a doz, medium for $55, large for $80 and extra lg for $90. They all are nice in size and looks pretty meaty. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone to enjoy. Definitely will be going back myself.
God damn I founded a nice place to eat. I have been unlucky at spotting new place to try and this place don’t disappoint. U can buy separately or order seafood to be cooked right on the spot or even prep for take home cook. Seafoods tray I had was amazing good, love their fresh corn they used in their trays and their shrimp pasta was top notch for me.
