Stopped in yesterday evening for one beer. Second time I've been there but I'll definitely be back because they don't lie about their drink prices and RIP U OFF like the CRAFTY SQUIRREL does.
Great service. Food was good. Nice to sit outside and people watch. I had the buffalo chicken wrap. The fries are amazing
Needed a quick bite close to our hotel. Our group chose this establishment. I usually choose more conservative establishments, so this would not have been my choice. It felt like a dive bar. I was grateful for the outdoor seating with coverings and a nice breeze that blew. Five Bucks Drinkery serves burgers and such...American fare...and drinks with creative names. While my burger was okay, not as flavorful as I'd hoped, others in my party received incorrect orders, which were quickly fixed, though our original wait was lengthy. We left Five Bucks thinking our $$ could have been better spent elsewhere.
Great staff with quick service, a fun Bourbon Street like setting, great nachos, and awesome three dollar shot and beer offerings. With a sidewalk seating area for people watching, a quieter back room with another bar for no waiting, and an awesome front bar area, you will love your options.I wish that I owned a fun place like this where everyone is happy and smiling
Busy hole in the wall bar. Its small but it has great food and also offers a full bar. Cant go wrong.
We stopped here for a bloody mary, lunch, and some football on a Saturday afternoon...and liked it all. My buffalo chicken sandwich was good, and the bloody mary excellent. Not a bad spot for a quick bite / drink.
Whenever I'm heading to downtown St Petersburg whether it's to watch sports, have a drink, or grab a bite to eat this is one of the first places I think to visit. From their fast service to they outgoing employees five bucks is worth the buck ijs?
Distillery fries were pretty good. The hot sauce on there is vinegary.
Finally got in on a third try. Crazy busy Saturday night. Must be good. No the food was great. Had the Mac n cheese pork sandwich which was awesome. Fries the best I've had in along time with just the right season. Also had the sliders which tasted just right. Prices on beeer and cocktails fair on both the restaurant and bar sides. Service friendly. Seemed short of help. I did help clean our table or it would have been a much longer wait. About 15-20 finished drinks from cups, bottles, and plates on table. I would recommend eating here again but if it too long wait times I'd go elsewhere just for that reason.
Some friends and I went on a Saturday night there. Asked the bartender when she had a minute can she get us some shots she said I’ll get to you when I’m done serving all of them down there we said ok cool. Waited for about 15 minutes and asked another bartender. We got a table and sat and had our drinks and about a half hour later she looks over and says omg I forgot about you guys. Also the music selection sucks I listen to all kinds of music but straight country music the whole night I asked her could she changed the music and she said no she can’t play any hip hop to decrease the chances of fights. Needless to say we left and found a nicer bar with better music and service just up the sidewalk.
