I asked about the flavor of a type of bitters that I have never heard of before. The bartender's response was "it taste like bitters". What kind of response is that?! I have had orange bitters. Chocolate bitters etc so that immediately turned me off. Seriously don't assume people who are inquiring about your drinks are drunk people on a Saturday night. That's how I felt being there and the atmosphere is pretentious.Your establishment won't make it if you continue to have rude bartenders like I had and make audacious comments regarding your drinks.
Odd vibe. Very sour mix heavy watered down 15$ marg. Think I got too spoiled making them at home during quarantine
Is what it says it is. Fun spot. Great history too, just ask the bouncer! Live music all the time and good drink selection. It's a dive with a splash of class. Enjoy, we sure did.
The drink menu is unique and we had such a good time talking to the bartender that we made a second visit the next day. Love the steampunk decor!
While unique and a cool décor... the place is staffed by millennials that think that the 20's, or the "new" 20's, means they have to dress up Steampunk... as much of the current clientele do.A trend that started life as a Japanese teen/pre-teen craze, Steampunnk has largely been co-opted by the 50+ crowd. Cosplaying 65 year old folks can be seen frequenting the club most nights. Making for awkward encounters for those not wearing large goggles and top hats with gears on them. Maybe once the "newness" of the club wears off... but for now, it's a "No Go".
This place was a highlight of our visit to St. Pete. Benny has made an amazing menu of exquisite cocktails. Take time to stop by.
From the moment I walked in Morgan was very responsive, not only welcoming but she was very specific from my drink to my refill she actually was very attentive and responsive. I have not had service like her like she was on point the entire night when you go there I fully recommend her pass that point if you don’t, you won’t appreciate the real service you could be .
The drink menu has prohibition era influence to it with some additional lovely shot options. I added some pictures of one - the chocolate pretzel. Very tasty! The servers all dress in steampunk attire, the décor is also done in prohibition era, and there is usually live entertainment. The only down side for me is that it can sometimes take too long for service.
Awesome! We thought it was not going to be good but drinks were awesome! Started with pretzel shot which was perfect amount of sweet and salty and then got rose colored goggles- was really good! Highly recommend!
Great Steampunk vibe and awesome cocktails. Live music that could be heard inside and outside, but not overwhelming. Staff was awesome and attentive without being overbearing.
