Absolutely authentic food! No tortilla chips from a bag here, that's for sure. Lightly fried but not greasy and the sauce drizzles down through the nacho platter. The cheese quesadilla was fantastic! Prices are excellent and food is really fresh and delicious. Colorful decor and plenty of room. This will be a go to spot for my husband and I when we're in Florida.

We were looking for a new Mexican restaurant (not on the beach strip), and Chile Verde, in Marina Village, fit the bill. We looked it up on line, read the reviews and thought, let's give it a try. Our server, Stephen, was welcoming, with a great sense of humor and very accommodating. The food was delicious. Fresh guacamole and salsa with tasty chips. I opted to try the "pastor" meat recommended by one of the reviews, it did not disappoint. My friend opted to get the ground beef hard tacos which came out hot, non-soggy and tasty....Oh, did I mention the house margaritas...We'll be back!!

Authentic Mexican food, strong drinks, and great service. It’s pricey but the portions make it worth it. It’s great to have a spot like this on the south side.

If The paper plates are not Authentic ? reminds me of my Tia Patty back in Cali! Cauliflower was Flavorful yet Simple! Tasted like My Abuelitas Rice! Everything was on Point And our waiter too He was The only one Working and had our food out Fast I would Definitely Recommend I left full and satisfied

Absolutely fabulous! Fresh made chips, a tomatilla salsa and fresh gorditas. I only wish we had place like this back home.

Service was great, but food was very bland and they charged me $4 for chips and salsa?! The server should have mentioned this.Definitely won't ever come back.

This is authentic Mexican...not Taco Bell...so be aware there is difference. Had the Special of the day...a quesadilla...with a choice of meats. Delicious and the tortilla was so crispy! Will go again!

I have enjoyed this place for a couple of months. The food is very good, service is excellent and very friendly, their hot sauce sucks. While their salsa is very good. I enjoyed the fact they had a full bar and could enjoy a couple drinks with my meal. A basic well drink was 5 dollars a bit high but it was OK. Now a basic well drink is $6 which definitely seems to high for this place.

We have been here a few times and they have consistently good basic Mexican food which is hard to find. The five stars is earner by Steve the server, bartender and taker of all takeout orders who manages all of it with great attention to the customer no matter how busy it is. He is great!

This place is the real deal if you are seeking authentic Mexican food.
